Great series, great story, I want more

There's strange charm into this story. I'm glad I found it. Anyway it has a strong plot, deep background, charming & very pretty art and an extremely good type of the storytelling. It's kind of a fairytale but not overly sweet or naive. There's tension, there's mystery, very unique storyline. It's definitely a memorable series. I really like it. I mean the whole series.

The mangaka put a lot of effort to write this, the story alone is well-thought-out and it's not lacking anything from the start to the end. Drawings are beautiful and polished. The characters in every story have different personality and social status, they met in different circumstances and such and there's plenty of them. It's not an easy type of the story who includes only two gay lovers. There's about 15 main characters in the whole series (3 volumes). Also there's hot sex (but not that graphic). If I had to complain about something - some of the characters are a bit cold hearted, as for ex. Mikhail in Wild Rose but really, it's not a big deal. I wish for continuation of these.

I highly recommend it, you should start from Wild Rose, then read Wild Fangs and Wild Wind, but you may read Wild Wind first and then WR and WF. This way or another - enjoy!

Of the 3 mangas in the whole series this one is definitely the most polished and refined. It has everything a great manga has to offer. The artwork is gorgeous, absolutely stunning and such a joy to look at. And it fits the story perfectly well which is a way big plus. It's just such a shame the cover art isn't even close to how good it's actually inside. This is the one thing I want the mangaka to improve on, she never knows how to sell her mangas, I mean all her covers would just steer people away and not make them want to take a second look and check out what's inside the books, all of which is actually way way more fulfilling. Putting that aside, the story is interesting enough to keep the readers' attention while still managing to stay authentic and avoid being artificial. I absolutely love the characters as well. Seriously, how can one not love this manga?

It's absolutely beautifully done!

So, everyone said it's pretty much explains the manbeasts history and reasons why they are on earth and the reasons for the markings on certain people's bodies. It's actually really nicely done and really interesting. The romance was done in a way that won't make you go 'Blech!' and the bond the two had is really loyal and sweet. I totally recommend anyone who wants to read a decent yaoi that doesn't overdose in the corny factors of smex. smile wink

Nothing more

I have given this manga a 10 because I don't personally think it needed anything more. The manga was fine how it was and I couldn't think of anything it was missing and I didn't desire it to go on any longer. Therefore I think it deserves a 10.
The art was nice, the characters were all likeable and the romance was sweet. I suppose if I had to think of something it would be that I would have liked it to be a little sexier. But whatever.
Definitely recommended.

it amuses me that each time i start reading one of these, i wish it to be a sequel, and it never is. but it doesn't really matter, because they just keep getting more interesting. this is a pre-prequel to wild fangs, which tells the story of how the manbeasts came to earth, and why there are "marked ones" who are their masters. neat mythology. the artwork is once again so very beautiful. there's a bit more enthusiastic sex in this one, but as before, nothing graphic; it fits well with the mood of the work.

but of course i want more. it's been 3 years since the last one; i hope yamagishi hasn't stopped writing them.

Again not a "true" sequel...

...because like 'Wild Rose', this one seems to be another sequel that's actually a prequel to the previous installments.

If you enjoyed the art and story of 'Wind Fangs' and 'Wild Rose', you will enjoy 'Wild Wind'. The main characters are, once again, stunningly beautiful and the story has promise of being the most interesting one yet.

Like the description tells us, the story of 'Wild Wind' takes place "long ago in a distant land" and judging by the first chapter, this story will provide the readers with lots of new information about manbeasts, their masters and their history.

Third Time Lucky?

This story tells you what happens before and after a brief (but memorable) appearance of the third manbeast in 'Wild Fangs' (I'm not naming him here because it might spoil for those who haven't read this yet). 'Wild Rose' and 'Wild Fangs' were interesting, so hopefully it'll be as interesting this time, too. So far, it's a little darker and more angsty than the previous stories.
