Seriously underwhelming story, uninspired characters and the way the shoujo lead is drawn is just plain criminal! Seriously, her expressions are limited to two: simpering and sycophant-ish (like she's getting the best pleasuring of her life from Sai, the hero, even when she's remembering something completely unrelated or being pushed around) or loud mouthed surprise. ANNOYING. In one of the panels (chapter 1, page 15) the hero's face looks a bit like a dinosaur's (NO JOKE!) Overall though, he's drawn in a pretty understated but rakish manner.

The story just keeps beating around the bush for the first couple of pages, but characters seem a little multilayered and relatable. If you can tolerate the art, you may start to enjoy the story if you're not super discerning about clever romances.

Smut's just a tag, it's nonexistant and what little intimacy is sprinkled in the scenes is unsatisfying.

Is it just me or do alot of Yumachi' manga's follow this same pattern? Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

In fact, out of all his manga's that I've read, this has to be the worst. I hate when female leads claim that they are absolutely, 100% in love with a character, only to quickly lose sight of that 'love' when another guy shows up. In this stories case, there were not even enough interactions with her 'crush' to even convince of us of 'love'. By completely downgrading the reason she loved him in the first place (If thats even possible. Her reason for liking the brother was completely empty regardless), you could pretty much tell who she would end up in this outcome.

I didnt even bother reading chapter 2. It was hard enough stumbling along with the first chapter itself.
