The Spin-off is pretty good, love the fact that Nia meets Kamina. I just wish it was longer. It could have been a pretty neat spin-off if it was a little longer. But still the Original Is the greatest. If you have NOT seen it and even if you have watch it again and again. it is the only anime that never get boring.
I loved it because it was funny and cute. Also i love the fact that what happened to nia at the end of this one is much better than what happened to her in the anime *wink* *wink*. All u real gurren fans who saw the anime know wat im talking about
This manga lacks any and all substance. In its six chapters, all the short series amounts to is some light fanservice for all the fans of the superb anime and its characters.
That said, it's kind of worth reading if you are one of those fans. Its cute. The art's not bad. It has the Gurren Lagann cast.
In short, It's not something to be compared to the original, just an excuse to see Yoko in a school uniform.

This is more of a parody of the shounen romantic comedy genre and its cliches with the cast of gurren lagann. If you haven't seen the anime, go watch it. If you liked it, read this.
