This is a must read for all fans of Eiki Eiki / Zaou Taishi manga, and one of my personal favourites. Never fails to get a chuckle out of me no matter how many times I've read it.

The manga starts out slow and sweet, and as you read it you only know one thing: Takashiro and Sakae are meant to be together. The manga makes it clear that they're inseparable. Then, near the end, a bigger plot kicks in and is resolved as quickly as it was brought upon the two. However, it leaves behind it a strange, bittersweet feeling to end the manga with. They're together, and they're happy, but you are left to wonder if it will always be this way. If you read over the description of the manga again after reading it, you'll find that the simple question "Are they destined to be together?" holds more significance than you would originally think. Overall, it's a cute read, and it only touches on little bits of drama- enough to make you frown, but not enough to really hurt.

It was nice and sweet. But if you are writing a manga about love and soul mates why keep mentioning the possibility of their breakup in the future? It kind of damaged the mood at the end. It's obvious that any relationship could end in a break up, but there's no need to keep reminding the reader of the character's relationship possible future doom.

The whole plot, art and characters were all typical 2000-ish. Compared to todays crap-yaoi that´s being published, this is really good. I judge yaoi manga on the feeling I get, if I feel this so-sweet feeling in my stomach, then it´s a good one.

So what I´m trying to say is that´s it´s good.....wich I think i´ve said a couple of times now.

Either way, read it if you want a light reading.

my mother is a lesbian (She was married at one point and had a husband-thus me) and she has a lover or a wife as I call my stepmother, so to me, the fact that the two main characters someday might split up doesnt really matter.I honestly dont think they will, because to me, love is not a sin. I think that this was a pretty good manga and that although its old its still very sweet. I love the innocence of Takashiro and Sakae but its a little too pure for me.
I loved that they both seemed to think the same thing about their artwork, kissing, and even having sex.

Kyaaa! XD This was amazingly attractive, the characters are so damned innocent, this is pretty much a new thing for me to come across in yaoi - almost every time if theres innocence involved its usually just one character, not both. They didn't even know about kissing *happy* so cute!

This was amazingly sweet and a pretty simple story, but it had impact and i enjoyed it thoroughly.

The artwork in this one is really nice and easy on the eye. Artwork is often what attracts me to a manga on the bookstore shelf. The story is a nice, easy read and is enjoyable. There's no spectacular plot or really anything stand out about the story. But it is entertaining and worth the read. It is a good one for those who enjoy "cute" stories.

I've actually read this years and years ago (it was probably one of my first BL mangas), but since I read Ren'ai Koufukuron just yesterday, I just had to re-read this.

It seems kinda childish now that I'm older, though.
I like the concept of them understanding each other and I really loved the "open to interpretation" ending.

But the art really bothers me (it's not like I love Zaou-sensei's art style nowadays, but before it was really bad).
And the plot is kinda ordinary, not to mention that I hate reversions.
They're equal in the relationship (I usually like that, but it has to be with two adults, not kids...otherwise, instead of two hot semes, it's like two whiny ukes!)

I did like Sakae's father, though. He really IS nicer than we all think at first.

Over all, as yblees said, it's just meant for Zaou-sensei's fans.

This manga really left a big impression on me for some reason. I really like the art and the way the characters all interacted. It was sweet and even a little funny sometimes, but never generic. The ending was a little more sour than I expected, but maybe that's just me. Either way, I highly recommend it if you're into BL and looking for something that's just a little bit, but not majorly different.
