Immature Work
by NoOneSpecial75

This series just doesn't work for me. It injects so much "humor" (which isn't really funny, and not because of culture differences) that the serious parts don't feel serious at all. Genocide? Betrayal? Hyuk hyuk hyuk, hysterical! (Not!)

There was an interesting plot in there somewhere, but it's buried under annoying characters, forced humor, and terrible pacing. It's hard to believe that she wrote this after Jeane, which, while also imperfect, just did a better job of telling a story. I can't blame Arina entirely, her notes hint that the rapid fire change in editors she went through (3 over the course of this series) was probably a big part of the problem.

Good but.....

I like it alot. It is the usual Tanemura style and everything but i wish it wasn't rushed because when manga gets rushed, it just ruins the story and it makes it ugly. I'm not saying the art is ugly, i'm just saying the story's ugly, especially when there are all 11 strangers at the beginning of volume 3.

Excellent Manga Cut Short
by astroasis

I would've given this manga a 10 if it hadn't been so obviously cut short. Had it been fully realized, had we gotten to meet all 12 of the Strangers, had it been able to reach a more natural conclusion, it would've been a masterpiece. It has all of the required elements for one: Likable characters, sweet romance, hilarious comedy, exciting adventures, intriguing mysteries... Everything you could ask for. This is, so far, my favorite of Arina Tanemura's works. I just wish it had been allowed to move at the same pace as the first two volumes, through to its inevitable conclusion. This is a manga that shouldn't have been 3 volumes. It should've been at least twice that.

Kind of disappointed

I was kind of disappointed with how short and rushed it was, but Arina did say that they would only allow her to make so many volumes so I forgive her (so those that bash this, take that into consideration). She originally planned on, like, six volumes but editors and publishers can be pretty mean sometimes. <--- Would know because she does edit.

It was well thought out, and I enjoyed it.

Was too rushed though i did like the sweetness of the tale. Certainly there were cliche moments like most of Arina's works but it sums up nicely as usual. Still, i wish it was more elaborated instead of being such a rushed through piece. Also, i liked how she ended up writing about the "witch's story" in shinshi doumei cross.

sweet as all tanemura's stuff is.
Very cute and loveable characters.
It was humurous and well written. Though many say it was rushed, which is true being a 3 volume series. However, it still was good and i encourage people to read this on a day you just wanna laze about.

Interesting..but...

Quite interesting plot, nice characters (like king ^^) and all... but I had to really really concentrate to remember who is who. I mean maybe it's just me, but they all look similar! The differences are hard to tell and as you can see, I'm not a fan of these drawings (although I admit, I read Full Moon with pleasure).
Overall, sweet, cute, a bit funny, but nothing else.

I like the arts and the costumes in that manga very much. The story is quite ok. I'm a fan of Sakataki and Mizuno and the flower stranger (I forgot her name). I also like the king (^^) and of course Kyoko. But I was surprised about that ending. It was so...unexpected... abrupt.
