I always be the fan of Takeshi Obata's amazing artwork. But sometimes i wonder why he didn't write his own manga, i want to know what kinds of manga he'll write... (hikaru no go, death note, blue dragon, bakuman always wrote by others).
So this is the one.. made in 1989? I take a peek 1st chapter... The artwork doesn't look like the other series...
This is definitely unique idea, but somehow....
(Well, this type of manga has their own era... I would categorize it in Doraemon era. It's fun n light reading, creative/orisinil ideas, different story per chapter, story took on everyday life, family, friends...)
But for my age now, i would pass this one...

Neither does yours, Drahken.
As for the series itself the premise is a bit :/ but the stories pretty ok, just dont expect an earth-shattering manga here. At least its not another small town kid, gets powers, fights for justice, blah, blah, blah.

Um.. how is "*Often makes a cameo appearance in the artist's various works including Hikaru no Go." remotely relevant or useful as the description of this series?? It doesn't tell us anything at all about the plot or the characters, or really anything. Period.
