Garbage manga

It's a manga that is over the top in the wrong way. The entire comedy routine revolves around the heroine and how she has no mental block about saying perverse stuff and showing off her disgusting sides(provoking reactions from people around her), which seems to be pretty much everything she's got.

While this could've been a good setup for a gag manga, it's done wrong, oh so wrong, here. The girl just feels forced and fake, so does most other characters here. It's over the top in a childish way. The humor is immature and cringeworthy. I can only see children and teenagers laughing at this. It's not even good enough as a timekiller. Because of the horribly poor writing, I can't laugh at anything here, I just facepalmed at everything and I do love proper over-the-top gag comedies. The female makes me feel more disgusted than anything and this is not because of the idea that she's perverse and weird but rather because the writing was so bad that she can't be seen as amusing or interesting, she's just an immature brattish kid with mental issues. If she was actually amusing, she could've been a good character, but alas, she's just cringeworthy, so is the rest of the character cast.

Well, this author has never written any truly good stuff, not even the later works. It's just that stuff such as "Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui" happened to speak to many of the more pathetic people out there who can relate to it. I personally couldn't even get through more than a few chapters of that garbage before dropping it in disgust as I couldn't stand how obnoxious and sh'itty the female lead was.

I VERY rarely rate anything at 1/10(just as I almost never rate anything at 10/10), but this was just that bad. There was nothing that made me enjoy it even a little. The only reason I powered through it quickly was because I can quick-read 4 volumes in a hour and had nothing else on hand at that moment. I guess it might be enjoyable for children and teenagers or certain adults that likes childish "humor" like this. Clearly there are some of those in the review section.

A meh to poor romcom written early in the careers of the Tanigawa Nico duo. The perverted (and tall) Serika and (straightman, otaku, and short) Nao's interactions are very standard boke and tsukkomi with running gags like other mangas, but the running gags are bizarre and just not funny. It was such a slog to get through that I skipped to the ending just for a sense of completion. The art is decent and improves to good quality by the end.

I was reading this at midnight and had a very hard time trying to control my laughs so I'd not wake my family up XD

It's funny and relaxing. A super cute boy who is actually not perverted at all even when he's around a big boobs girl and a pretty girl who is always want to do dirty things with the cute boy she like but the way she does it just makes it impossible to hate on her... A really weird but cute and sweet couple.

(and this is absolutely not another standard loser guy+beautiful girl love story. I hate that kind of story =.=)

The main reason I really enjoy this manga is that I totally share the female lead's taste for cute boys biggrin I would totally bully that guy too, haha.

I disagree that he is your usual loser/loner shounen lead with a beautiful girl after him. The guy is super duper adorable looking, which makes him an unique shounen lead. In most cases, the shounen lead is very average looking but has girls falling for him because he is kind/said the right thing/helped the girl/etc. etc. It's not about his looks at all. With Nao, it's all about his looks! His personality isn't terrible but he isn't kind either.

I find the manga very uniqe overall, the humour included. My only problem with it is that the jokes repeat themselves too much. All the poop talk and blood gushing was funny and shocking (since it's so uncommon in manga, when coming from a beautiful reserved girl)... at first. Thankfully there are some new fun scenes/comments... but I would have preferred more of them.

I can't think about any other manga similiar to this-- which is a good thing and means that Choku! isn't cliche smile

The girl is amazing, she talks and does dirty things with a straight face as if it's a normal thing, and she likes this shorter, nice and pretty guy. The guy and the girl is a weird couple, and what happens with this two weirdo is pretty fun and amusing to read..

At first it's comedy shtick and lots of laugh out loud moments, but then as the chapters progress we start to see some depth to the characters and the type of relationship they are developing. So far I am really enjoying it and I just want to read more smile

Standard loser/loner guy has a beautiful socially award girl force a relationship on him, and comedy ensues from her outrages behavior.

I think the series would be more amusing without her over-the-top nose bleeds, and if the girl felt a bit more real rather then gag foil.

Rating: 3/5 (as of ch7)
The characters have a unique feel but the comedy feels stale. I don't see this series getting better.

This series is actually pretty funny. Don't let the retarded description run you off. Somebody needs to get their shit slapped for that blunder.
"The two go off and do things basically."
Fascinating. That could have been typed up by a child. I'm glad I read the comments on this series.
I say give this series a try if you need a quick chuckle. Also good after reading a heart-wrenching series.

It's actually really fun to read. At first, when I read the description, I thought, "It sounds like it'll just be your typical, run-of-the-mill shounen romance series".

I was wrong.

The lead girl is actually reallly different than I expected. I love her social awkwardness and just all-around dorky-ness and how crass/blunt she is, yet at the same time, she's a crybaby about certain things.

Overall, this is a really really good comedy manga so far, and hopefully it'll stay awesome. It's really unique and if you like kind of a strange sort of humor, this would be the manga for you. :3

This is exactly the sort of thing I like. You know my tastes too well.

And for anybody who's interested in the series, the first chapter is very amusing. The humor may be too over the top for some people, but the female lead can be described as "a refreshing change".
