Basically, us po' folks that decided to cont. reading this beyond chpt. 1 can be spared by one thing: if the dumb protagonist, GENERIC, broad would just quit as their assistant. Then the manga would be over. Thee end! Really now... how you gonna' expand this pile of crap into 12 volumes? The premise is so cliched, but while it is, the characters are not ones that the reader can sympathize or connect with. They're one-dimensional paper twats. This ain't worth anybody's time, in my honest opinion.

Edit: So... got done reading the latest chpts, with the original hope of at least finding some redeeming quality to cont. reading this, but damn. It gets worse. I'm sorry to say that this is some godawful crap, it truly is. Skip this one, guys. I tried, I honestly did try to find something to like about this one. It's just THAT BAD.

It's a pretty general girly-type manhua. The protagonist is rather generic; she's just some regular schoolgirl thrown into something else, without a lot of qualifications, so it stretches belief a bit. I think she'd have been way more interesting if she had something to single her out from the crowd. Yeah, she likes fashion design and such, but it doesn't have a lot of relation to her job. If she'd for instance done a lot of babysitting jobs with a horde of spoilt kids, or had to look after her doofus father, or was physically strong enough to throw boys around, or was simply capable in every respect, or had -any- sort of awesome trait related to being a personal assistant, I can see where it would have definitely livened up the manhua and led to humourous moments, as well as being a good explanation for why she's succeeding where others have failed.

The main problem is that I can't really respect the members of Ardour. For a top pop group, what sort of professionalism is that? They don't seem to be taking their jobs seriously at all, at least in the beginning.

Other than that, though, it's a decent read if you're looking for something generic.

this manga is one of my top favourites, theres lot of reasons actually, other then the good art, theres character development and later on like in volume 5,6,7 it gets really interesting and you found out about yi's and sheng yi's past.

In the beginning I can see how some ppl might be put off on the story but, seriously give it another try because it gets way better in my opinion. The pace picks up and lots of stuff gets revealed later on... so just stick with it for the first couple volumes around volume 2-3 is where the background and underlining stuff begins/ explains. Anyway for the artwork, to me that doesnt matter, I mean look at skip beat's mangaka, her stuff in was weird to me until I got used to and I loved it. But for Ardour I never had a problem with the artwork, I think its really good.

This is pretty good..although..i dont really like the story plot that much..the drawings are good and the story lines good..so im readin it ^^

i dunno why but their heads' are really big and flat so they like mushrooms and meatballs..plus the author's name in chinese: Wu Rou..it means meat..so i get this mushy meat feeling whenever I look at the art. and I guessed the story plot correctly! again...

interesting manga. waiting for more!
