I like it

Well, this is my first time reading a seinen and a manga like this, but after checking the comments above and after reading the whole manga translated, I think that is NOT THAT BAD. I like the art, and maybe it have a little too much of violence, but it depends on your point of view. In my case, i really enjoy it until the gang bang, but i'm also waiting for the future chapters.

"What is going to do the author now that her life is like crap?" ... well.. i think that it can have a pretty easy final but it would be a shame for fans~

I recommend this but just after reading a lot of hentai, yaoi, and a little of shoujo. Gang Bang wasn't that bad... pass the pages if you don't like it. REMEMBER IT'S JUST A MANGA NOT REALITY!

Too much rape/ just plain disgusting

I have to agree with Rika and many others here. I enjoyed this manga until the rape scene or should i say scenes. They went too far. I wonder if that girl will ever recover. This may just be a manga, but it hurts the soul to see her suffer so much. At this point I am only reading this manga to see what happens to the girl, (whether she recovers or dies). After that I am done with this manga. I've read many similar mangas before, but never seen anyone take the rape stuff to this level.

VERY Suspenseful

Personally, I NEVER thought I'd read this kind of manga but I always see it being updated and I thought "hey, why not give it a chance?" So I read it and oh my god MIND BLOWN. The plot is good and the art is absolutely FABULOUS, but I will say this manga made me very uncomfortable at times. But I have a feeling that was the point. Either way I'd recommend this but parts of it were REALLY strung out. Scenes that could take 1 chapter were drawn out into 5 chapters, making me wanna just say "screw it" and leave. But what made me stay though was the suspense. It really leaves you wanting to know what will happen next and how Akira will fix everything. It's entertaining but very extreme in every aspect, especially the long ****scene. This is a manga definitly not for the faint of heart!

i think the **** scene are overly use but i dont think it makes the manga bad in anyway... most of us are grown up people and how the world is right now even a 14 year old person would know a lot about what is going on in this manga.. you guys are just being dramatic .. no offense to any1

if you drop this manga because it's disgusting then you've missed the point
like "Bradherley's Coach" it's intended to do exactly that (makes you feel disgusted)
the author played on our deepest dark fantasies
how many of us didn't want to bang the teacher before this current arc ?
now don't you feel guilty and repulsed because you saw yourselfs in the rapists place?
i think the last comment would have made a great review

Which do you fear more? Pain or Humiliation? Not talking about petty shame, the type that comes from failure, embarrassment or the like. But real humiliation. Worst case here was something like being subjected to
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
gang-bang, having it lavishly video taped and spread on the internet
so that no matter where you go, no matter how hard you try to hide, there will always be the chance that the people around you will have been intimate witness to the most debasing violation imaginable. Maybe they even enjoyed it. Regardless of if they couldn't or wouldn't, they certainly didn't stop or prevent it. Now you can't escape from wondering what they might be thinking, their judgement. How deafening would their silent thoughts be? Their glances, the unspoken body language of rejection or speculation?

Would any level of pain be worse than that?

I'm afraid of pain. So much so it motivates me in almost anything I do. But after reading Wolf Guy up to the beginning of volume ten, I think I'm re-evaluating that. People can die from rape. What level of torture would that have to be to kill a person? To not be able to shower, the salt, etc, assaulting touch, taste and smell. A constant reminder of what's been done in every breath that jars ravaged muscles and raw skin. To be exposed to whatever temperature the abandoned building was, with no covering to escape from it.

Rape is humiliating enough but

to have it put on the internet and be popular…?
Especially in a society like Japan, where the group comes before the individual. Nails that stick up are hammered down. What would happen to this nail? What would that knowledge do to this nail or anyone who cared about her?

What is it about Wolf Guy that has really caught my attention? I was horrified, repulsed, disgusted by what the author/artist dredged me through. And yes, they didn't have to. We as readers aren't so desensitized that half of that would have sufficed for the shock and awe. But maybe that's why they did it. Every moment of reading it, my hands wouldn't put it down because I kept thinking,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
he's going to finally make it. Someone's going to stop this. There are so many chapters left, it'll happen any page now and then I can read about the aftermath to get the foul taste out of my mouth. Even as I'm getting closer and closer to what has currently been released, someone, anyone, will burst through the door, some crazy fight or interruption will ensue, and I'll have the satisfaction of knowing it's over. I'll be able to put down this now-wretched manga and move on to better uses of my time… But it never happened. By the time I had caught up with what had been released, no one had come.
Tasting bile in my mouth, I walked away troubled, determined to move on. But, my mind keeps drifting back to what I read. Even as I read something else, my mind is thinking about what these characters reactions would be in that situation. Would they still try to save the girl, even after it's too late?

Then I start reevaluating that, what would "too late" be? She dies? I don't think so; then she wouldn't have to face the world, stranger and acquaintance alike, who has witnessed this. Her body is maimed beyond mental maiming and the rape? I'm a believer that mental maiming can be worse than physical. Makes interaction with other people harder as they can't see the extent of the damage or what form it takes. They don't know to stay away or what to avoid talking about. I do find the seeming contempt of the author/artist for the readers intriguing. Here we have the typical fan-service girl with bodily proportions and clothing and supposed attitude to match, even the "older female" and "teacher" genres are included, a few light scenes where she gets into bad situations to tickle the imaginations of readers who are into that sort of thing and then they make her completely undesirable as a fan-service character by extending the worst possible scenario beyond the breaking point of most readers.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
She still looks fine, big chest and all (with no obvious disfiguration, so far),
but the readers know exactly what has been done to her and how much was done. So many of the comments here have shuddered about how this girl is no longer something they would have romantic interest in or they think the main character wouldn't have interest in her anymore. But I think the author/artist know exactly what they are doing.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
So I love the guy who's trying to save her; even as he knows all of what has happened to her? No, I think it's deeper than that. Like when I first read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, I've taken an interest in what happens to these people so much so that I would damage my own health over it to find out what happens in the end. Respect. I think that's closer. I have been moved. Nothing else matters, no matter how dirty she (or society, or me "the reader") now thinks she is, he's still going to try to save her. He still Values her. This idea is all the more powerful when contrasted with his earlier contempt for humans and tendency toward a philosophy of isolationism.

I was intrigued by this series before, good art, interesting premise and all, but, after thinking about it, now I'm hooked. Of course, seeing how the story isn't finished, there is still the possibility of the ever-feared "lame" ending. But I, for one, am willing to see how this one ends.

I loved the the characters and especially the hero, I love the beginning of the story (a lone wolf guy), and of course I love the art. In the middle I couldn't figure out how the author would do with what was happening.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I mean, you can't erase what have been done, so how the characters will live after such horrible things ?
.
But he made it somehow ! Yes it was really horrible, more than needed to get the idea of despair, but I think this manga's here to show the true cruelty we have inside us. And it gives hopes and will at the same time !
However why just 6, because the pace is no good and you're not really granted of what you were expecting for.

no idea what score to place ... i've never ranked mangas nor wrote reviews (except for my favorite manga)

anyway, the first time i said: "wow" in a positive way, was when Inugami and Haguro met near that factory; the way Haguro dodged the bullets shot by the african assassins was cool... too cool, i said to myself: "this will be awesome as an anime.."

the second time i said "wow" was in a negative way... when Chiba transformed into a freak...anyway, didn't expect that, but was kind of okay, not "manga-breaking"

the third time... well, the only guro manga i've read is "Death Panda", it was kinda of funny because it was gory and the violent sex scenes lasted for 4-5 pages before the Panda tore their bodies....
.... but this.... 2 volumes of gang rape... it was honestly... repulsing... horrible... this scene rendered this manga almost worthless....

Ichi the Killer... torture ... fine with me!!! Guro, sure, go ahead... not my style, but go ahead... Humiliating cummy rape by 5 guys with cameras uploading the vids to the net... such a scene spanning over 2 volumes?... Not for me.

I would've honestly preferred to read some nasty guro instead of this shit... Think about it... i almost don't read mangas anymore.. what drove me to this manga was the art... And what drove me to write my second comment here was this gang-rape scene...

In the end, i handled it .. i've read through all the bubbles... If this scene was simply with Haguro raping her and that's that... this manga would've been pretty good...

In conclusion, you like cummy gang rape spanning over 2 volumes? Then I recommend you this. If not, get the fuck out of here.

What to say...

I guess I will comment on this since I have sifted through some responses already. I've read up to the current chapter right now, and I have to say this series has its good parts and it's bad parts. Obviously if you've read past chapter 69 you know the "bad part" I'm referring to. I started out liking the series, mainly for the art, because, let's be serious, it's very eye-catching (though I dislike the look of the bad guys and that Aoshika has such huge, unrealistic boobs). The plot is alright I suppose. Nothing to be amazed over, but nothing that will bore you to death.

Just in case there are people reading like me, I like to read all types of genres, so mature doesn't bother me. I like action and drama, but I need a touch of romance in there. Honestly, I was creeped when the twin did that to the school, and could've stopped reading. But I hung on for the brief interactions with Aoshika and Inugami. Without him liking her, what with how gorey and provocative the story is, I probably would've stopped reading.

Spoilers:

Spoiler (highlight to view)
And then came the gang bang scene. I skirt over the pictures, glancing at some word bubbles so I don't miss anything, but other than that, I don't want to look at a dragging on rape. It makes me uncomfortable. The only okay thing with this plot twist is that it kicks Inugami into gear, and that he shows emotion and feelings for another person. I don't approve of rape scenes..

...but if you can handle doing what I do, then this series won't be ruined for you. I still like this and look forward to updates regardless of the current chapters. That -and some hauntingly violent scenes- is the only real flaw with this series. I would be cautious to recommend this, since the maturity isn't for everyone. But if you are like me, as stated above, you could give it a shot.

If this manga is trying to be cool with all that "pride" and "pity" stuff then what is the point of drawing lustful females among sexual and violent scenes? Just a cheap fanservice mixing with some over the top moments, in overall. Nothing is falling into places even until the end, just fragments of actions, dramas and psychology thrown in at seemingly random intervals.
If someone is into emo without regards to story and characters, this could be their cup of tea. Me, I just want to forget this cr@p as soon as possible
