Description
Taiga works at a publishing company, and thanks to his sister's sudden marriage, author and Taiga's best high school friend Shu has become his brother-in-law. But then his sister suddenly disappears! Left behind, Taiga ends up taking care of his little brothers and living against his will with Shu. Their lively and raucous lives filled with trials accidentally draw them closer together. And actually, for Taiga, there's a certain feeling he had long ago that just won't disappear...

The novel, without reading the mangas or anything else, is rather boring.
I bought it because I wanted some yaoi novels to read and while the others I bought didn't disappoint, this one did not live up to my expectations.
The story is not bad, in general, but there's too many characters to get a good picture of each one of them. You get to know them a little but then the novel is already over.
The plot...well... it's a cute story, but 90% of the book is really no boys love. It just tells of the characters' life together and how they learn to get along, while Taiga once mentions that something happened between him and Shuu in school.
There's barely anything though! I wish they would have kept sort of a sexual tension or some flirting or so going on but the characters seem very disconnected for the longest time.
By the end they kind of explain the whole deal but a page later it's the end so you don't really get to enjoy their new found feelings.
If there's a 2nd part to the novel or maybe by reading the mangas, this might become more enjoyable of a story (I will read the mangas now because I am interested in the 2nd couple, Yuuta and Mayumi, which were characters you'd slash together while reading the novel but nothingggg ever happens between them)
Either way! If you look for just a nice story of friends and a family with males with a shonen ai touch wayyy in the background then this could be for you.
However, if you want to read an actual yaoi novel, where there's at least one couple that is in love (or not) and actually doing *something* whether it be kiss, touch, have sex, rape or tease... this isn't the novel to go to!
