Description
"My eyes were covered by Daddy so I wouldn't know the way. My mouth was gagged and my ears were plugged by Mommy so I would hear and speak no evil. Daddy forbade me from smiling so I wouldn't have dreams and hopes. Mommy spawned me...so I would bear all her sins."

Disturbing

Okay, though it`s not for my age, I enjoy some minority of seinen i thought i could take this even when i read the warning comments. But hell, I didn`t expect it. It was utter sh#*. The art was beautiful but grotesque. I managed to go through the whole thing but if there was one manga I`d never reopen again till I die it`s this one. I agree with the others, youngsters under 18 shouldnt read this yet. It was a wonderfully deep story but too disturbing

One word - 'Bizarre'

This is actually a really good one-shot; riddled with symbolism and dealing head-on with the experiences and mental processes of a girl undergoing puberty. At times, however, I felt that it was rather melodramatic. I doubt many people have ever gone through the extreme experiences etched out in this one-shot... but it will be a very relateable for those who have.

There are some very graphic scenes here (though nothing resembling rape) - and I would not recommend it to anyone below 18 years of age. I usually never read manga like this, but Furuya Usamaru's skill lies in that he makes it obvious that the nudity and sexual symbolism serve a much more profound purpose than mindless fan-service for hentai-addicts and lolicons.

The art is simply stunning- being incredibly unique and stylized. The colours are rich and enhance the mood of the illustrations perfectly.

Read Plastic Girl if you're interested in a deeply psychological and brutally surreal manga. However, if you're looking for something enjoyable, I suggest you look elsewhere.

truly disturbing. I'm sure I've truly understood only a part of it, but it doesn't matter. Those few pages(around 30) had a big impact on me. I reccomend it to all over 16, since it is a mature-manga and not classified as one without reason. Don't misunderstand me: It's not like some hentai, or extreme smut-manga: It's also not like a bloody manga with lots of gore like Berserk or something like that. It's the story that makes you shiver; even if you don't fully understand it, you can feel the pain, and there are is a lot of stuff implied younger readers wouldn't get.
that's all. Read it, but please avoid it if you can't take heavier, darker stuff. I can only say it a second time: If you're too young, you won't "enjoy" this. You just won't.

This is Furuya, with his eccentric surrealism, grotesque images, and FULL COLOUR.
In full force.

And he did well; this is probably one of the best, undiluted, Usamaru Furuya, IMO.
The stories are rather nonsensical..until the end. And then it all makes sense.

It's a bizarre, abstract and thought-provoking piece of art that is definitely one of the best short stories by Furuya Usamaru. It's not just a usual, gory stuff, but a really intriguing, original, imaginative concept and a colorful, strange style put together. This manga is like a weird but beautiful patchwork to me, but of course, I'm slightly biassed.
