Really only one volume?

At the end it says.... "now that the second volume is complete..." in the author's note, so. Shouldn't there still be a second volume out there somewhere?

Or perhaps it was finished, but never published...

a very good incomplete story

this is a very good story but as you can see at the end of the vol 1, there must be a second vol 2 for this series otherwise it is meaningless. that's why story feels incomplete and you can't really see the final outcome of the story. I really hope some one scans the second vol some how and lets us see the ending.

Incomplete

From the way the series ends, you can really tell that the mangaka meant to create at least a second volume. It's either never been completed, or people just magically don't know about it. In any case, because of its incomplete status, you won't get a true amount of joy in reading this. It has a very good idea, a sort of philosophical storyline, but it never gets resolved - unfortunately for us.

Waste of good potential

The premise of this short series is unique and original, even if the plot is a bit underdeveloped. The two main characters are both interesting, and a longer series could've fleshed them out better. Art-wise, the style is very unique, and while it isn't the flashiest in the world, it still is neat and pleasing to the eye.

The only problem with this short series is a major one: the ending was abrupt and, for lack of a better word, bad. There is no wrapping up of anything; the main character just has a brief period of enlightenment, and the series ends. If the series was longer, it could have ending on a much better note. But, since it was cut off where it was, I've got to say that it left me disappointed, given how much potential it had.
