Recycled

It was like a recycled cuter version of "A Tackle On My Life".

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the main girl reminds me of the twin girl in Tackle on my life... The guy "the devil". But not. Super dragged on and boring. The orphan story line was recycled. As she is a caretaker of a younger sibling as well. She cares for money and is poor. He is a rich kid with a father that is president of the school (same thing as the devil ATOML). The same harsh bullying. And a dragged on ending predictable ending. They break up 3-4 times and get back together.

Overly dramatic

It's so over the top dramatic that it kind of puts me off...Yet I still love it so much! It made me cry so badly and I just love all the angst and anger. It has it's bad times which just make me hate the characters so much, especially early on. But it's so nice to see a strong main female lead and an obsessive crazy male lead. It's exasperating to see them all fight over each other and I don't really like the complicated harem that just confuse me and put me off. If you're like me, who has read a lot of manga to the point where you notice cliché drama easily and don't find it particularly pleasing, you might not like it all that much but honestly the parts later are worth it. There's less unnecessary drama and more two people who honestly love each other for who they are and accept their flaws. Their love is pure, strong and beautiful. Read it till the end.

Fell in love with it

I always love Hwang Mi Ri's works because they're all wonderful. This particular one is my favorite. Usually her heroine in her manhwas tend to bother me after a while but not this one! HyoYi is physically (a little) and emotionally strong, she captured my heart as she always took care of her mentally handicapped brother. I always had the tendency to cry my eyes out whenever her brother appeared...(kinda glad I out grew it c':.)

I seriously fell in love with HyoYi's brother and its heart breaking to see him go
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Apparently her brother dies due to a gas explosion (I think it was caused by the curly haired antagonist)

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
people are saying that her bro dies but before I knew about that I really hoped that he got killed of so I'm happy he was just annoying ....

Anyway its pretty good and usually in hwang mi ris mangas the guys always get week and blush ...wttf I want tough ..so I'm happy she didn't do that here as well (yet)

Drove me to tears.

This is the first Hwang Mi Ri series that drove me to tears. I've been really moved by Hana Yori Dango and other series, but this is the first HMR series that really moved me to the point of tears. I really like how the protagonist cares a lot about her brother and how she's willing to sacrifice everything for him. Even when I read the raws, I teared up so much.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
I believe her brother killed himself because he knew how much of a burden he was to her.

This was really emotional.

Surprising

As far as Hwang Mi Ri goes, this is quite good. The characters are likeable, there's no annoying girl who cries all the time and she doesn't immediately fall for the guy. Obviously, you can pretty much guess the plot but it's still an entertaining read. The side characters have good development and while there is still the evil girl determined to make the protagonists life a misery, the lack of gangs and excessive fighting all work the this manhwa's advantage.
The only thing that annoys me is the brother's "mental handicap". I would have liked to see something more serious....still, it is unsual to find something like this in a manhwa...

I've read a lot of Hwang Mi Ri's work and I've got to say, this is the best one yet. You can really see her growth as a writer here because there is a depth that wasn't there in her other works (that I've read). It has an engrossing plot, in-depth character development, and wonderful pacing. I honestly recommend this to anyone who likes the summary; don't hesitate! Read it! Her main character has a nice balance of backbone without being idiotically stupid (it's nice when you don't think the main character is a total moron, neh?) at least in my opinion.

One of Hwang Mi Ri's Best Work
by westsidestoryfan

I love Hwang Mi Ri, though sometimes I get so exasperated by her lack of character improvement. This one completely changed my mind. The main character is strong (emotionally strong, not the abnormal physically strong most of her characters usually are). I love her comebacks, and how she tries to support herself and her mentally ill brother all alone. The side characters fit perfectly alongside with the plot. It's original, and something you can relate to. Of course, the art is beautiful as always.

Even if you didn't like her other series, I still strongly suggest to read this. You won't regret it.

I've not finished reading the series since it's not complete but so far I'm really enjoying it. It's nice to have something original added to the pot. The plot appears to be well thought out and the characters have depth. I like the art work. We'll see how it pans out and give our final analysis.
