Had potential, ends meh...

It starts off as a pretty decent survival manga with dark psychological tones. Then there are some radical changes that occur. The art changes and not necessarily for the better. It goes from being a little sketchy to being flatter-- example, hair instead of having highlights becomes all solid black. In some poses the shape of the head of main female character is only 3/4 not complete. Body sizes also seem to change as high school students start looking a little older. Some of the characters personalities change abruptly too and I'm not convinced that it is a good change or a justifiable change. Story takes a weird direction from where it started from. The cause of the calamity seems to be changed at the end and the title of the story no longer seems to apply. All of this happens in 3 volumes. I must say I was disappointed, because it seemed to start with a lot of potential and it ended unsatisfying. It definitely feels that the story for some reason got axed and they hurried up and changed some things to give it an ending of sorts. I can't really give this more than a 6.

This story began with potential but quickly the chapters felt as if they were missing pages, simple plot explanations, and jumped from one mood to the next. It almost feels as if the pages shown are a summary of a fully completed story; they lack character development along with fully understood reasoning. After chapter 1, the people in the story might as well had been brain damaged. The best part of this story imo is the protagonist's mental status. Ultimately, the beginning and the end were completely different stories with disjointed plots.
