A rather simple, typical gentle love between school boys. There's not really anything deep that's worth thinking about here; in fact just like the story's current timeline this one-shot is kinda similar to a summer breeze swinging by and then disappearing into thin air without a trace. Lol that might sound a bit abstract but that's how I feel about this. Nonetheless, since there isn't any real event to drive the 'plot' forward I just wish the mangaka had paid more attention to expressing the characters better, eg. through the artwork and characters' facial expressions etc. It could have brought even if just a bit more depth and believability to the romance.

I mean, in comparison to american comic books (eventhough that's a generalization) most manga are very good in depicting facial expressions with just a few lines (most u.s. comic books are very stiff and concentrate more on the overly detailed artwork rather than the expressions in character's faces) but this manga certainly isn't good at that...stiff faces devoid of expressions and emotions...bleh
