Adore it ! Love this manga (and its prequel which you should read first since this is more like a continuation). Definitely in my all time top 5 - in fact it's probably my all time favorite manga

I don't care what people think I'm in love with this manga. It gave all the character time for spotlight. I love the hero sometimes yes he was annoy at first i always agree with Sheila in the beginning saying kill kill them!!!!
But than as the story went on I'm glad he didn't kill any monster.......wait he didn't kill any monster ....i haven't finish reading it but i think there is one monster aka demon he will kill

I finished Superior, like most, thinking where's the rest to only learn that there's a sequel. And I agree with some of the comments that say this is a good shounen with romance in it. And then it stopped for a really long time. I thought the series got dropped, but thank you EXAME for the releases. Volume 4's end is going to drive me CRAZY. I was like I arhh--- this can't be happening. Stupid idiot-- but I guess I can understand---but still!! Why can't you be like the others~~ Arg I'm in pain and agony---I can't wait for the next one release...

Its hard to find a manga that has good potential in terms of both action and romance...Though to some, this manhwa may fail as shounen, i think it does well.
I believe even male readers will like the unique blend. But i Do agree that this manhwa is more centered around Hero and sheila's equation than saving the world, or becoming the strongest(which are the stereotypical issues of a standard shounen manga , i believe). But it does deal with the war between the monsters and humans, which makes it less draggy on the romance part.

Ha xD I had the same thing happen to me too! I finished Superior, and I was like "OMGGG WHERES THE REST" and I moped around for a for a few days. THEN I FOUND THIS. This is my FAVORITE series with a girl in an action manga. It's like, Ao No Futsumashi to me, just shoujo<3. I LOVE AO NO FUTSUMASHI. Overall, this isn't a critic. I just wanted to post HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS. SO MUCHHHHHHH<3.

Yay! Read Superior, and then this! I loved every single FRICKING chapter there was. ^^!

It's amazing!
The plot line is fantastic! I love adventures, and this is BY FAR the best adventure manga I've ever read. The choices the characters make in this manga actually make sense, and aren't far fetched.
BLEH ITS JUST SO GOOD.

This is one of the rare mangas that when you explain it, you make it sound worse. XD.
It's hard to describe it in words, so I'll move to bullet points.
*FANSDKFLJSLKDFJSDLF-TABULOUS CHARACTERS-gawd I love the lead. She's not innocent OR LOVE SICK! THERES ACTUAL PERSONALITY!!! !!! K, now I'm comparing this to a shoujo xD. Sorry. Anyway, the lead is fantastic. And the character growth (for ALL the characters, not just Shayla) is AMAZING. You don't realize it when you're reading(the manga-ka is so awesomely realistic and subtle about it), but when you think back on it, you realize how much they've changed. c: and it makes you happy to think you were part of it.!!! Also, the other characters(I wont list them off) are awesome too. c: this manga is just SJDKLFSDJF AWESOME.
*GREAT ART I drool when reading this. At least, I probably do. XD i know I do mentally!

I'm a sucker for the whole "enemies become good because they fall in love" kind of like in Vampire Game. I absolutely love this manga. It has a few cliches, but nevertheless, it works well with the plot. I wouldn't really call this manga a shounen since it's too romanced-focused though. But it works well as a shoujo, and it's much more interesting than reading a typical school-life manga.

That first chapter of volume 4 was just plain weird
but the end had a very big cliff hanger dammit !!!
How long will volume 5 take ? D:
that last update before this was 200days ago.
If the next takes that much, we'll all grow old

I love superior xD
The story plot, characters, romance and adventure!
It's so exciting xO

At first I was like WTF?
Then I continued on...
Then I was glued to it (;

omg ik!!! after reading all of superior i was like 'ok. wtf. the endings crap. wuts gonna happen 2 sheila and exa and wut about the fake sheila?' so i got all sad and pissed 2. but after like 10 min i searched 4 a sequel. and vuala! there was 1 called superior cross but i cnt find it anywhere 2 read. *cry >_<

Ok, so I finished Superior and was all like, O__O, where the hells the ending, this isn't the end, nothing significant has happened yet.



So I get pissed off and go mope around for about three days before going back and realizing that their is a sequel (how overjoyed I was). So I quickly download the scans for the first volume of Superior Cross and find out that the entire things is little more than a recap of what happened in Superior along with a little character development and background information on the characters (and a little past problems resolved for some of the characters). I was so looking forward to jumping straight back into the story, it was just getting good.

Though the first volume was a complete let down the second volume makes up for it in spades. It gets back into the style that was present throughout the first nine volumes of superior and also is a good continuation of the series, developing Sheila feelings towards Exa and furthering the story, on both sides. Can't wait for the next volume and hope you all enjoy as well.
