The story was really mature and very good. I would give the artwork a 6 though, it got better throughout the series but the story was the good part.

I would like jedinat to name me some titles with the same plot, because as a first time reader of an OL josei manga, I thought this was truly wonderful.

The growing pains and struggles that Kaoru goes through, her transformation from a child-woman to someone who's able to stand on her own... all these really shine through and stirred up emotions in me. I think that when we go through life, we go through identity crises and problems no matter the age, and I can empathise with Kaoru from the start to the end of the series.

Not to mention the social issues raised; traditions and culture all play a huge role in this manga. Highly recommended!

It hurts what little masculinity I have to rate this Josei Romantic Manga so high, but I found it to be an emotionally engaging read that captured my interest. The interactions between the characters seemed much more realistic that your average romantic manga and I found the representation of the Japanese corporate work environment to be moderately educational.

Slow but a good story

Lately I have been trying to find good Josei manga which have been completely scanlated. The task is actually quite a difficult one, so you can only imagine my surprise when I hit upon Kimi Kara no Resume! Set in a workplace environment, it is about the secret relationship of an OL with her boss.

Undeniably, what interested me in the story in the beginning was the age gap romance, but I soon learnt to love the heroine and the other characters. There is some magic that the manuals weaves into these characters, all of whom have such in-depth characterisations despite not having much screen time. You feel like you know them all - their lives and their secrets.

Yes, the first two volumes of the manga may seem a bit dry and the art a bit sketchy. It gets better from the third volume, though. A highly recommended read.

It was okay, but I dropped it a little over halfway through.. It was a little too typical; a little too dry. I've read at least two other manga with exactly the same plot.

The first couple of volumes were really boring. I ended up skipping the work-scenes alot. Plus the fact that the artwork doesn't really catch my interest, added to the reason of my skip-pages-skip. However, I still gave it a chance since some people here talked about it gets better pass through the first two volumes. And they were right, after finishing the 3rd book, i think im hooked.Nevertheless, the work-scenes still didn't leave an impression so i mostly skipped it..

The only thing I'm interested was the affair that was going on. How they express they love for each other seemed real. Love the fact that house is their only date place. LOL. I would to have a guy who embraces a girl like that. So sweet.

This is such a good manga, but it's only after you pass the two first volumes where you will be able to notice. Most of the manga is based about the work system and the work environment for the two main characters, we also get to know more about some side characters and honestly i found myself laughing many times. But what truly impressed me was the romance, the way it was portrait was truly mature and realistic, although sometimes because of it i became upset at some of the chapters and characters but it's all quite understanding so in the end the outcomes makes those painful chapters seem much sweeter. The art at the beginning was not much to talk about but after the 3 volume it improved quite a bit, in fact i began to see why the female heroine would be chosen.
