I don't see why the users are giving this a low rating. The humour isn't to the level of School Rumble but there is romance mixed with supernatural phenomenon (time travelling) which makes this series all the more interesting.

Good manga, I expect a lot from it! Drawing style is different from SR and is more beautiful to my mind.

Definitely not "School Rumble Take Two", but you'll recognize a lot of character personalities. A good deal more emphasis on the supernatural side of things instead of misunderstandings and plain old naiveté; it shows Kobayashi Jin's skill in storytelling beyond School Rumble's slapstick comedy.

it's look like the story is on its characters development part. usually we must wait till a few dozens chapter till the real story comes out.. just like some other great manga out there (ex: kekkaishi 50 chapters till the real story out)
the indonesian published finally out.. yay. i just bought the first volume.
ps: yeah publishers here are quite slow to take a new series

After reading School Rumble for like the 3rd time? I noticed that this was made by the same guy. I noticed it before but thought I could for go reading/watching this one for the time being. This time I decided take a look. It's actually not half bad. I felt school rumble had a little too much slap stick comedy and not enough thought put into character development.

In School Rumble you figure pretty quickly that Harima is not gonna end up with Tenma. The mangaka even went through a whole back story as to why Harima likes her. Specifically the scar on his back, could have been played with or even a side character could have got him to open up and then felt pity for him to get comedy from it.

Then there was the half assed Yakumo supernatural thing. It's never really explained. Nor is her ghost.

Only about half way through this one shows a lot more promise for a satisfying ending. Go or Bad ending it would have been worth the read.

The beginning of this story was terrible. I almost gave up reading after chapter 2. BUT, there was one scene from chapter 1 that confused and forced me to continue forth. And it was well worth it, when I came to chapter 6.

So ya'll that quit reading @ chapter 1/2 should give it a second try and stop at chapter 7 if you still don't find it interesting enough smile

EDIT: This series has nothing to do with School Rumble, so people should stop comparing them. It's like comparing Coca-cola to Fanta, just because they are developed and owned by the same company/person doesn't necessary mean they have to be anything alike (apart from being soft drinks, just like natsu is a manga and so is school rumble)...

I gave up on this early on. Recently it got a bit more interesting with the new twist. It's not as funny as school rumble and it doesn't have much romantic tension since the main lead is too young. It'll have to rely on supernatural elements and good storytelling to keep us interested. Time will tell...

I like it. It's quite different from what I expected in the beginning but it's definitely very good. Absolutely worth a try.
