Description
From Mousou Scans:
Ogiwara Umi is an ordinary sixteen-year-old girl with an extraordinary older brother. Ogiwara Haruto is an up-and-coming star actor, and everywhere he goes girls call his name. This would be difficult for any little sister, but Umi has it particularly hard ~ she not only has a brother complex, but she’s actually in love with her brother! But perhaps the more important question is ~ does Haruto feel the same?

I enjoyed the beginning and the middle part very much. Anyway, the end of this manga is a little unsatisfying. There are too few scenes of the second male lead, he didn't even do a thing to develop his relationship with the heroine. The farthest thing he shows is blushing and heart pounding over her (geez).
Although this story gave me a very cozy and delightful feeling throughout every chapters, but isn't everyone's life is kinda so easy, especially Haru? It's not like I like melodrama or anything but... com'on, he's loved by everyone in his family and even strangers in the streets, he's handsome, he acts well, and then people discover that he also sings so well, and then
And
Anyway, I like how their family don't really make a fuss about fake siblings dating together. The family is also really fun to read about. I like the Grandma. !

1/3 of the story (the last part) is all about singing and lovey dovey of the main couple. Not a word about Reila. haizaa
What I'm long for is the jealousy and the struggle between the 2 male characters. And all they do is chasing after their career. Anyway, I like how their family don't really make a fuss about fake siblings dating together. The family is also really fun to read about. I like the Grandma. !

Really liked it don't mind faksest, though I feel as some of the chapters were jumpy or rushed like someone accidentally hit the fast foward button every few chapters. Not saying it jumped around like time skips do more like a few of the chapters had that rushed ending feel to them.

It's light-hearted and gives off a nice fluffy feeling. While it's a bit slow in the romance area, the way the characters treat each other definitely shows that they love each other. Not a possessive 'mine mine mine now now now' but an actual caring relationship. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for something that has a tiny bit of angst mixed with comedy.
Main Character Profiles:
Haruto (Haru-chan <3) is a level headed big brother with a sister complex. He never pushes his feeling onto his sister which makes him a favorite of mine. I also liked how he's always serious about his job, he doesn't just leave set to hang out with Umi (which I've seen in multiple mangas.)
Umi is a lively girl who loves to love on her older brother. She's a hard worker with a big heart (unless its to do with Reila).
Reila is the other side of this (slight) love triangle. He's a narcissistic singer/actor who has a rivalry with Haruto. (Don't worry there is character development that reveals there is more to him than meets the eye.)
Now I could go on and talk about the hilarious grandma, the sweet mother, the always-busy-but-funny father, the supporting best friend (of Umi), and the clumsy hard-workers who manage the two stars. But then this review would become too long. Just give it a try and find out for yourself!!

despite all the idealized love triangles and impossible situations and occasional cliches, this manga is super cute and enjoyable. umi is a spirited dork with an onii-chan complex and her brother haru is a typical nice guy with an imouto complex. automatically better than all the other "incest" manga i've read since the bro doesnt try to be cruel to his sister even when he knows his feelings are wrong. really lighthearted for such a usually taboo topic!
reila is also a cute dork of a character. i know he's supposed to be the bad boy rival archetype, which makes me roll my eyes endlessly, but he's so adorable. seeing him and haru clash is amusing.

I decided to read Yuki-sensei's other series since I enjoy Venus wa Kataomoi a whooooooole lot. Hm.. what to say.. I think I've already read this manga once.. but I complely forgot I did. lmao. But it's still a good series though Venus in Love is still her no.1 series in my opinion
Hmph, hmph. How could I say that? It's because this series talks a lot bout Haruto's past and also because the slow development in relationship.

I've read up to Volume 6 and seems like nothing interesting has happened... lmao
This manga is kind of cliché too... haha but the story isn't so bad so I'll keep reading it.... Last updated on August 22nd, 2013, 10:09pm

I jumped right into this after reading her other series, Venus wa Kataomoi. Despite it's premise, it's really not that deep or melodramatic. Mostly, it's just lighthearted fun. Her characters are all likeable and there's just enough romance to satisfy a typical shoujo/josei reader. Definately worth it if you've read and enjoyed her other series, Venus wa Kataomoi.

If I had a brother as hot as Haruto, heh. Well. Overall, it's nice. Pleasant, even. I just hope this won't cop out in the end by having a lame-a s s mind-f u c k of a twister like oh... I don't know... them not really being blood related after all. Or the brother's really a girl. Or he dies. Or the sister decides to become a lesbian to suppress her feelings for him. Or she decides to become a nun in some remote Hungarian hillside yonder. Or they both commit mutual suicide & live a happy life in hell (at least they'll be together!).
Really. I'd give this a try.

Interesting so far, the girl is a bit clumsy and looks younger than her age, but I got used to this typical shoujo girl trait already, it doesn't annoy me as much as it did at the beginning. Since I love to read about taboo love I hope this'll be an incest. Oh, and I hope they come visit Hungary, they're half Japanese half Hungarian after all! Now that would make an exciting story.
