I think this was hard to get into because we're missing too much. I've read yatteraneeze and there's just such a big gap, and I don't really understand what happened that someone would want to take revenge on Kanae.

I think there is a novel of this series too. That one probably holds all the missing pieces. WIth those, I'm absolutely certain this would be much more enjoyable to read. Not that I didn't like it of course. It's still a great read, just a bit short.

Only thing that bothers me is that theres a novel that takes place before this manga and i can't find the details for it xD but the translator makes a reference to it as do some of the manga websites, but no one gives it its full name and i cant seem to find it linked to the author either... t'is odd.

Anyway cute, but with some black spots (as its a continuation of sorts i suppose thats understandable), a bit short though and bit weak in story. Still, i guess its an ok read.

the story was kind of lame. the flow of events was looking so rushed and illogical, characters were in chaos. one moment the writer was implying that some one is a villain and in the next page, suddenly that person would turn into an allied, without any particular or developed pattern. over all the story was kind of confusing and not very satisfying but the art was sweet and lovely, probably the only reason that got me to finish this manga.

I really wanted to know what will happen with these two characters so it was really nice, i loved every minute of it. It was even nicer to see the previous two characters once again and see them doing so well. Love conquers all!

Apparently Chisato and Kanae's story was already told in at least one BL novel by AKIZUKI Koh and that explains why the manga seems to start and end somewhat abruptly. The story also references old incidents and people as if you're supposed to know them, but if you have not read the novels you have no way of knowing them. This can be a little disorienting but in the end it's not that bad and the manga can be read as a stand alone. For Yatteraneeze! readers this manga can give a sense of closure because we finally get to read more about Chisato and Kanae (we also get a glimpse of Hiroya and Masaki as college students). The artwork sure is pretty, too. All the characters got hotter since the original Yatteraneeze! series ;)
