nice art, but no substance

The artist is a good artist, but not so much of a writer. Every time I try to approach this series, I get frustrated with the lack of substance. The visuals draw me in, but I just don't feel like reading every panel. The characters are pretty boring, and aside from the "mystery" there is nothing to keep you interested in the world.

A shame.

i find that this style of art suits the series well. it reminds me a bit of Tail Star in sense of art, story, and type of characters. the lil tail hunter guy and this amnesiac beserker might have something in common. ive read up to the most current release and im eagerly awaiting more.

good for children...

I want to like this more than I actually do. The premise is really interesting and the art does a good job of conveying the feel, but what the mangaka actually does with the premise is less than thrilling. Or maybe it's just how those things are portrayed - it's a children's story and it has a lot of artificial levity where a more serious take on events would probably work better.

Also, Shiro is a boring character. I wish she could have found someone with a brain to go adventuring with.

the arts sketchy and the plot is quite interesting. Quite memorable to me I read this 2 years ago and still remember it. (only read it once and couldnt find it again, forgot the title) I found this manga while skimming around. it's a good read to pass time

I can't tell who's coming or who's going. I like the dreamy quality art but I couldn't tell what was going on so I quit after 3 volumes. The long breaks between releases didn't really help either.

Pretty good manga by the author of SaiKano. Much more shounen-ey, since it ran in Sunday; a lot of delightful fantasy and whimsical characters.

Oh and this manga is still ongoing. Takahashi recently finished re-doing volume 6, and it should be released this (or the next?) month iirc. Still not over though.

Very Good Series

The art's awesome, so is the story. The story has action and all that kind of stuff, along with a deep intriguing story, but it also has that "slice-of-life" feel to it. The volume chapters are supposed to be different than that of the original magazine ones, the author redraws everything before the chapters are released into a volume, also, volume 3 chapter 2, the last one that SnoopyCool released, is 101 pages long.. o_O. There were supposed to be 40 chapters in the magazine, but the series is over now, 5 volumes.

Once I get used to the "sketchy" art, it eventually becomes uniquely beautiful. With only 2 vols so far, the story is really promising. Well, it's Takahashi Shin's after all. X>

The art isn't that great, very sketchy. but after awhile, like other bad illustrations you get used to it. It was a bit confusing at first for me, but after awhile the plot starts to pick up and it becomes really interesting, but there's only about 2 vols. released so far so it might be too early to say much on the plot. But it does have a potential to become really great, it prolly will be i think ^__^.
