Thrilling

A thrilling tale of morality and what you're willing to do for loved ones in the face of overwhelming odds. The premise doesn't pull its punches in regards to its actions and sticks to them despite the stress and despair it inflicts on its cast.

The ending sadly does not resolve all plot points (like why the girl is a psychic) but it implies something sinister with its final panel.

A great read if you're looking for a story that escalates its action.

Pretty alright

This series will always be special to me because it was the first that formally introduced me into the real manga world. Before then, I was just reading the mainstream stuff that had anime adaptations and I didn't have much knowledge of the not-so-big manga series like this.

This one's a pretty simple series to understand with some fun plot lines and interesting takes on hit-men. The story isn't scared to take risks and the main character was really good. The big fault of this series is easily the girl who gets introduced in the first few chapters and some minor plot holes, but other than that, its pretty good.

This manga really stressed me out.

First of all, I enjoyed the story because I liked the characters and the premise. I got stressed out reading this because I began to empathize with the main character and I was putting myself in his shoes and was so hoping that things turned out alright for him.

A few things really pushed my suspension of disbelief and frustrated me. The main characters made a lot of stupid, avoidable mistakes and there were many unconvincing coincidences as well.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The main characters allow witnesses to their murders survive multiple times. If they do not want to get caught, this is a terrible idea. Fortunately for them, the witnesses usually tried to kill them and then end up dying or joining them. They also commit murders without wearing masks or hiding their faces. They use their real names when they are in front of their murder victims as well. The coincidences involve the detective with black hair and glasses mostly. They live in a metropolis, yet he runs into suspects coincidently. Also Makihara was able to find his friend's murderers in a metropolis quite easily as well.

This is a decent series and I recommend it if you like psychological crime thrillers.

A good manga if not great, it fill with good character, the story flow without being forced, the art is clean the only bad thing is that unlike other detective/mystery manga this one does not make you think at least for me that is the case, for some reason I just got dragged with the flow without stopping and thinking for a while whenever that is good or not it is for you to judge.

@Pacific.Mint
If you read it carefully you should get your answer it was pretty clear,
-there's always people angry at this world and that is exactly what Kuzumi is, he just got an excuse for doing justice to bad guys
-it was revealed but not in clear way but with a hint
-It was a baseline it mean a revenge will always there and always re payed with revenge I think it was what the author aiming for
-Agree to this, I think this only to explain early character and their personality which actually good although I prefer author use different method instead.
-It resolve well it was good enough ending, not happy ending, some are not explained clearly so it is up to reader to figure it out

Pretty Sad Ending

It was a good short manga, so I would recommend it to anyone who likes psychological thrillers. I wish it had a happier ending though, it was so unresolved. Were the murders really worth it? And I wish that creepy bitch who gave them the missions got killed too, she betrayed all of them like nothing.

I read the story from start to finish. The concept itself was good but towards the end I felt a little rushed. I get the feeling that the manga could become something more. This is what I think.

I liked this manga, but it's lacking in many areas. For example, itsuki. Her role in the story was almost pretty useless despite having ESP. Note: I said ALMOST. I mean seriously! Next is: the ending. I didn't like it. What happened to the strange woman, who was she and what was her motive?

No Direction, Unresolved
Rating: N/A

It was clear to me that this manga had no clear direction. There were hints and possibilities at the beginning but it seems like the author was unsure what to do so the manga became a mix of everything with little fully developed.

Things left unresolved:
- We never found out about why Kazumi wanted to be a hitman. There were hints that he was angry at something and needed to kill but we never found out exactly why.
- Who was hiring them? What about the broker woman?
- It seems that the author had a vision of a 3 hitmen team at the beginning based on the 3 goddesses but this was never fully developed.
- The whole thing with Itsuki's ESP ability was a setup that was never fully utilized. It felt like the author wanted to do something with it but abandoned the idea.
- Ending left cold. It has this unresolved feel to it. After reading the last chapter, I had to double check whether it was really the last chapter or not.

First it started out with a great concept but then the execution wasnt up to par however it was still a good read. After a while it started to feel like the series was just being dragged out but it was still an okay read, nothing great but still better than a lot of others. However the ENDING was just downright AWEFUL. They could of went in so many different directions in how they ended it but the way they chose makes me think they just got sick of the series and gave up.

Great Tragic Story
Rating: 10.0 / 10.0

In the beginning I immediately fell in love with this manga. I loved how the manga started off. It gave off big exceptions, in which it did achieve. The artwork and complex plot in this story drew me in and intrigued me. The genre of hit men and assassination was definitely down my lane. This type of manga is very hard to find these types of manga these days. The complexity of each character makes you can't hate them, with the exception of the police woman who was the only one not likable. Each chapter created foreshadowing, anticipation and excitement, because you do not know what will happen next! I was practically jumping off my chair and getting closer and closer to the screen, up until the very last page. The ending left me shocked, sad and happy.

This manga somewhat gave off the feeling of Death Note, so if you were interested in Death Note I highly suggest you to read this. I found this manga more satisfying than the Death Note anime (, I have not read the manga,) because I found Kimi no Knife's ending with more impact and emotions. This is mostly due to the fact that it ended off with a more beautiful ending, a better emphasize of the protagonist in the end, and a more realistic feeling, thus leaving a much more satisfying feeling than Death Note.
