This manga contains a series of one-shots that feature Hanai Shishimaru, the perverted boss of ‘The Help-for-Help-Seekers Room’, which will do anything for their clients except murder. Causing divorces, turning someone gay, ‘relieving stress’ on a crowded train…… Just how far will he go?

The first, fourth and fifth one-shots, XI -Extreme Love-, Fool and Shadow Game, as well as the extra, La décadanse, are sequels to Buddy System.

Anyone who wants to read this, may want to read the prequel first (Buddy System) to get an introduction to the characters. I love how the mangaka added the HaruxKiichi couple into this book and how they "do" their intimate scenes (like the prequel). I really, really enjoyed it!

I stand by what I wrote in Buddy System. If anything I am even more impressed at the elaborate setup which enables Koichi and Haru to go at it hot and heavy even more passionately. Also, now there is also Shishimaru who is characterized as a pervert, which is enough reason to disregard any sort of heavy story (because like always there is a story as much I would like to disagree with this) line and go with various supremely erotic sex scenes using very stereotypical setups without being stereotypical somehow (now this is something that I really wish to understand; is it just because of the smut?).
And annoyingly enough while the thematic coherence is as perfect as in the prequel this time there is (slightly!) more emphasis on the story side this time as well, which takes a very poetic route. In fact, the ending, which is very nicely and poetically rendered, annoys me because it makes it even harder for me comprehend this. The balance doesn’t tip either side for me. Also, it reminded me very much of Surf Junkie which is something that Sadahiro-sensei goes on to make in 2008.
In short, when it comes to smut Sadahiro-sensei is second to none. And it is (as far as I can tell) by the power of smut mostly, and creative/dynamic story telling, that Sadahiro manages to push through.
For me Sadahiro’s works (as many as I have read, such as Under Grand Hotel too) are something that will keep on going on and off my List of Good Manga, perpetually.
Also, I will admit that it is my inability to comprehend what is happening here (and the awesome smut) that attracts me (especially the smut).
The only other mangaka whose work elicits a similar responses is NAONO Bohra. Though in NAONO Bohra's case at times even when the smut is awesome the story pushes me over the edge. Sadashiro-sensei's work evokes a bit more complex response from me even as they almost push me over the edge (and manage to for a few seconds at times).
