Description
This series, a joint project between the rising star Nakamura Asumiko and renowned director of Shoujo Kakumei Utena Ikuhara Kunihiko, weaves a strange, surreal, and often dark comedy respendent with ruffles and lace. It is on the surface a farce about a young girl traveling with her lover, some sort of bear-type creature, but as to be expected of Ikuhara it's multi-layered.

The series is being endorsed by Baby the Stars Shine Bright, the leading name in Japanese lolita fashion, and the characters often wear clothes based off of those from the company.

This is definitely one of the must confusing reads I've had in a while, now this may be due to this manga only having 15 episodes translated so there may be more to it but i haven't found any information about more episodes so i have to go based on what i read and what i read was...peculiar to say the least. The art style is really hit or miss, somethings it looks incredibly stylish other times it looks really uncanny and unattractive but overall i kinda like the art style and that's probably the only good thing about the manga, because the history is nonsensical, the pacing it's either too slow or waaaay too fucking fast, there's way to much dialogue at times and badly organized so reading the pages can be confusing at times.
Again IMO the only saving grace of this manga it's the art style and even then the art style is not that good, it's mostly the dresses that carry it and I probably only think that because I'm into Lolita.

As expected of Asumiko-san the art is delicate, pretty, and lacy. The only problem I have is that the chapters are only nine pages long, but that's is to be expected her other works in G,L bible are short too. I hope more of this series is uploaded.
