Description
Tokyo Butei High school--- It was a special school where armed detectives, also known as "Butei" are being brought up. Tohyama Kinji is a sophomore student who has the unique body which activates a "super mode" when it was stimulated by "something". He tries to hide it to others in order to live a peaceful life. But trouble came to find him when he became a victim of a bombing incident, where he met the Butei high "Assault" department elite, Aria H. Kanzaki.

If you like tsundere, you'd like this manga. I don't. I personally think tsundere gets real annoying real fast. And the action sequence doesn't make up for that either. Usually, if the action is good (or the romance is), I can ignore the obvious cliche ness of it all. No such luck.
I rated it a 7 mainly because the plot seems interesting. The whole butei high school is really a cool concept. The art is god. Nothing special. Nothing to complain about either.
The bottom line is...read it if you have nothing else, or if you are looking for a lighthearted manga...and if you can stand a tsundere character.

I hate The "YOU ARE MY SLAVES FROM NOW ON" or " Y U MAD? ITS UR FAULT TO BEGIN WITH" type of character and the so called "I DON'T WANT THIS" or " ONLY THIS ONE TIME" type of character,..If you don't want just say it and act..it's simple.. And who the heck put this label it as seinen?.. THIS manga didn't earn the seinen.. ITs shounen for god sake.. want to know what is seinen manga?.. read this shamo, onani master kurosawa, vagabond and berserk... <-- IS seinen manga. Just saying.=P

You know, the wild mis-understanding on parade in the comment below wouldnt be quite so bad if the manga hadnt explicitly spelled out that Riko's evil plan was entirely to differentiate herself from her great-grandfather. It never implied anything about him, in fact the only things the manga said/implied about him was that a) he had kids and b) he had a rivalry with Holmes. Classic Fail indeed.
It seems good at first, but near the end, it goes south. It's a classic case of Didn't Do The Reasearch.

Riko turns out to be the fourth generation of the Lupin line while Aria is the fourth generation of the Holmes line. Of course, what the author seems to have ignored is that Lupin wasn't evil. Yes, he was a thief, but he was constantly thwarting the plans of worse criminals. He was a good guy on the wrong side of the law. The author has ignored this and has made the friendly rivalry between Lupin and Holmes (which occurred without the permission of Sir Boyle, by the way) to be some sort of blood feud. Even if this were true, the feud wouldn't be solved by killing Aria or any others, which Riko tries to and does, but by outsmarting her in a battle of wits. By killing in her quest, she makes herself worse than Lupin. Riko, seemingly the smartest character in the series, should realize this.

It's fine to read if you're bored, but it's nothing amazing. Standard-fare action-ecchi story with characters that make no effort to break their archetype. If tsundere is your thing, this is for you. Otherwise, there's a lot of better things out there, but if you want something mindless this is as good as anything.
Just started reading today and I'm already hooked on it. Pretty unique storyline so far. The only beef I have with this series (as I do with others) is that it's a monthly release of only 32 pages. Really hoping the series will continue and not meet any untimely end >_<.

The whole hysteria mode thing is weird but totally cool. This honestly has some great comedy and seriously had me laugh out loud so many times. Three chapters in it, and this dude is totally awesome. I love it how he turns into such a player aha beats all the typical cliche shounen male leads who are all wusses. The action scenes are pretty good as well. The art is alright and at the moment I am loving both of the main characters. This could turn out to be a great manga!! I look forward to more of this!!
