Nothing really special. Standard shounen loli setup.
That said, I like the protagonist quite a lot and Aria is awesomely awesome.

I don't regret the hours I spent with a dictionary, while reading this.

Forced development

I agree with the reviewer below, I delayed reading this and finally got to read the translated English chapters so far. In comparison to To Aru Index for example, where the author let different elements fall into place, the author of Hidan no Aria deliberately added new plot tools and elements as needed, making the story development feel unnatural.

That being said, it is still enjoyable and a fairly easy read, albeit makes you scratch your head now and then.

I read from Bakatsuki 'till Volume 10 and from another site with Volume11.Lately, I feel like i read "HSS no Kinji".Where 's 'Hidan no Aria' ,I'm a bit disappointed with storries that try to get another new girl to involve Kinji's HSS mode, don't anyone think it too much? Instead of give another details of the main character with the name of the story 'Hidan no Aria'.it's pointless now.

A cliche fest if there ever was one

You think you've seen them all ? Well right here is every shounen cliche you could ever think of, conveniently packaged in light novel format. One can see that the author is deliberately trying to tell a story so ridiculously cliched in a tone so straight that the readers will fail to discern where the seriousness ends and the satire begins. Can one enjoy it ? Absolutely. If one is sufficiently bored and has a brain wired the right way.
