Description
Compilation of short stories:
1) Toraware no Mi (Arrested Man)
Iori is a totally heartless playboy and his past comes back to haunt him.
2) Yuki no Kioku (Memories of the Snow)
A child was saved from a snowstorm by a person, who may or may not be a snow spirit, and promised to marry him. Years later, he's saved again.
3) Ugokenai Yoru (Night without Motion)
Kouichi suffers from a childhood trauma which puts up barriers in his relationship with Akira, who, as you would suspect, eventually overcomes the obstacles in the way of their physical relationship.

The art is visibly dated compared to Naono's later stuff. So it's going to look poor compared to the more recent and popular series.
The stories are somewhat mediocre compared to other oneshots (some are just PWP). Out of them, I think the best was chapter 2 or 5 because those actually have storylines. I know I've read something like 2 before, right down to the snow-man lover, but this presentation is better. (Edit: Figured out what the other story was, a chapter in "Shinobu Kokoro Wa". Naono's is about 8 years older, so it came first!)
Chapter 5 brings to mind her other disability stories, except that the disabled character has no personality. (Jouzetsuna Yubi is much better with its disabled character.)
Body by Body is actually from one of her earlier DJs, that's why it seems so out of place compared to the SF stories. It's not bad.

'Toware no Mi' proves that Naono knew what she wanted to draw from the beginning of her career. The stories in the volume are slightly immature, underdeveloped and even a bit annoying but it's nice to compare them to her newer, better works and she how the author's style has changed and matured.
The honorable mention is the 4th story - 'Naive Gespenst'. Stay away from it if you don't like horror in love stories but if words like odd and creepy make you excited, you will be in heaven. Personally, I loved it and laughed aloud like crazy. It might honestly be one of the best out of all the weird one-shots I've ever read. That one alone gets at least 9.5/10 from me. The other stories... well, some are nicer ('Yuki no Kioku' is quite sweet), some are worse ('Toraware no Mi'). Overall, not a complete waste of time.

Anyway this collection is a bit incomplete i guess? Some of the stories ended very abruptly with no real conclusion so i hope there are continuations of sort type for them. In general this is a good collection of one shots but not the best i've seen. BUT once again this mangaka likes to play on unusual characters with defects and large age differences ^^

Corpse o.o body...ew...during...omg... *in state of shock* and he is all like 'oops'... if i were the uke i'd have freaking died of heart attack then and there, but he just lays there for a little while in shock then somehow migrates from one end of the room to the other xDDD but man that bit was gross but funny

1- its so violent. pedophilia, assault and battery, imprisonment, and to top it all serial rape. i usually like those but theres not much reason nor angst behind those actions - or it dont provide enough for me to empathized with the characters, it left me feeling flat. 6/10
2- what the...not interesting. 6/10
3- the little quirk is kinda cute...thogh the development is too boring. the cover is so promising *sigh*. 6.5/10
4- oh the HORROR! the sex scene is...o_O very good job! 8.5/10
5- awkward development...or maybe i want something more deeper in the line of disability fetish? 8/10
6- the end is cute, how they view thier relationship. 7.5/10

overall, i think these are the weakest out of sensei's work. i had always enjoyed her other stuff but these have something vital lacking. oh well, she need to start from somewhere...
