Seigi, a martial arts trained middle schooler, often feels driven to protect the weaker people around him. One day, he defends a homeless man against some punks, and the man gives him a strange tattoo on his palm in return. The tattoo is a secret weapon produced in the arms race between America and the Serinistan Kingdom.
Seigi finds himself in over his head when a powerful girl, using the same secret weapon, violently pursues him in order to retrieve it. His skill at martial arts may not be enough to keep him alive, but will he be able to learn how to trigger the power of his tattoo in time?

I don't understand. The plot is thought out, as well as it could be. The characters are all different, except some share an unusual perverted otaku interests. But it's boring. Yeah, it's interesting how you can't actually tell who the antagonist is. And that the hero could end up becoming the bad guy, despite us being force fed how he is Justice. That we don't actually know who the really bad guys are. But it's still all very boring sad. I've tried to read this. Held off from dropping it, twice. But it doesn't get any better. Too bad.

This is so bad that it is beyond bad. Every cliche known to man is thrown in here, the childhood friend girl who loves the main character but is kinda tsundere, the main character with unique super powers n got it with no explanation, the weird main powerful girl who knows everything, the glasses pervert, the dojo, on and on and on. The only good thing is the covers, the art inside is actually pretty mediocre.

As many people said this manga is interesting at first but goes down fast. The random switching between characters and scenes is confusing. The plot ist rushed and the descisions the characters make seem like they are made because the plot needs them to decide that way and not because their characters are that way. Which makes it seem unrealistic.

The thing i really like about it which i havent seen much in other manga ist the powers the Tattoos hold. In most manga where people have different powers its always something like Fire/Ice or turning to Stone or stuff like that. Here its always something that has to do with physics which makes it more interesting and more complex in my opinion.

I suggest you only read this if you dont care about the outcome and just want to read a few chapters before stopping.

Weird pace

This manga is weird: apart from the good art, it just jumps between characters, putting them in weird situations... don't get me wrong, there is definitely a scenario, but the pace chosen to show it is weird, and the balance between comedy and serious situation is really bad.
It seems really kind of rushed, with characters entering in the story way too soon... and some characters have psychological flaws which makes them just not believable at all.

Ah yes, there is too much unnecessary killing, in order to make the manga more mature I guess... but that's badly done too.

It honestly feels like everything expressed in this manga could have been done better in half of the pages. The setup and the art make it feel like this could be a fantastic manga, but the characters just aren't expressing themselves well enough to make it flow right.

I saw the negative comments on here and decided to brush them off. Bad move. After chapter 2, the manga seems to go completely downhill and become nonsensical. Interesting premise, horrible execution.

Captured by Iltutmish

I could rank it as a ten out of ten if I just based it on Iltutmish. The story is cliche but I found Il's character as a redeeming quality. I guess I can't make a good review because I'm so biased over Il.

Uhh well, the fight scenes area tad but mediocre. The void maker is too similar to Psyren's Melchsee's Door but the *cough, cough* opposing characters are relatable so if you like villains I guess Iltutmish will charm you. *shrugs* I guess I just read this for Il.

Good cliché

its nothing that haven't been seen before, but its well performed cliché at least so at the moment it's one of the better Cliché filled fighting mangas.

if it where less killing showed in the pages it could just as well been stamped as shonen, but the killing makes it darker.

Nothing new but o.k. entertainment non the least.

Cliché after Cliché, stereotype after stereotype. If you have read one "maincharacter gets "cursed" by a powerfull but omnious superpower with potentialy leathal side/affter-effects"-manga you know what to expect. Including but not limited to: random western philosophers being (miss-)quoted for no reason (even marquis de sad slipped in there in a rather obscure translation/interpretation), a child-hoodfriend that gets dragged along because she swore to protect the MC, a bunch of characters with tragic pasts, the same old boring moral dillema being brought up before a fight by the antagonist-of-the-episode just so our valliant maincharacter in shiny white white-knight armor can declare his stockphrase-ethics and then still smashing the antagonists face into pices. Oh and lets not forget the "I must train", because "I want to become stronger" bs.

The story is not original or intriguing so far. The characters are decent, but not that great. Overall, very stereotypical superpower-fighting, ecchi, random cute girlness kind of manga. Then again, I enjoy those types, so it's OK for light reading.
