Dropped

Started quite good but it lost all of it's "originality", I mean it from style, timing, pacing and atmosphere, vaguely, since the plot ain't original at all. After 100 chapters all that remained was another cliche manga you can find anywhere pretty much like what happened to tower of god. At chapter 400 I had enough cause it didn't even hold to a decent shounnen anymore and dropped it (actually, had dropped an picked up 2 times before),

Johnjimco nails it. And the art, too. 90% of Noblesse is fight scenes, and they are ALL drawn the same way. There is never any strategy, the two characters fighting are never in the same panel together, and they never physically connect. There is never any landscape around them, and they never interact with any objects. They just fly around in poses in the sky above a perfectly featureless, flat landscape. Here's a fight scene:
Panel of character A swinging his arm in a big "whooshy" motion.
Panel of character B looking surprised and thinking something boring, like "He's strong!" or "What is this power?"
Panel of character B whooshing somewhere, presumably toward character A.
Panel of character A blocking and going "ugh."
This goes on for dozens and dozens of pages - and STILL the fight isn't over. Because the characters have to take turns getting beat up and almost losing and then randomly powering up. You know they have powered up because the character design suddenly gets exponentially more stupid looking, and because it's the other character's turn to have a jillion panels of blocking and going "ugh" and getting whaled on and wondering, "what is this power?" - until it's THEIR turn to power up - and on and on we go. Makes DragonBall Z look like Vagabond.

It is becoming super repetitive...

The fights are so similar and they are soooooo long..Plus whats with the one panel per page? The plot is becoming so thin, barely any dialog and if you put all the panels in one chapter together they would make around 5 pages. Its that due to the scanning or is the author stratching it to make more pages 😕 I looooved this manga but it has become a chore to read it lately.
Picked it up again and just want to know whats with that ending? What the heck happened? and what did Frankenstein mean??

Cliche but fun enough

I read all comments first, so had pretty low expectation. Johnjimco's review below is (hilariously) spot-on. i guess anyone will get annoyed after following such repititive plot for 8 years. But I was only looking for a couple hours of fun reading now and then, and I jumped back and forth from volume 1 to 7 without any difficulties in understanding the plots (they are practically the same). That was enough for me.

@Johnjimco review is pretty accurate. Worth a read for the first two arcs. It's had me in stitches then it just kept recycling the same formula. Had great potential but lets you down. The humour is what keeps it going.

Few things the rub me the wrong way. The good guys are super handsome while many of the bad guys are "ugly" or just look plain evil looking.

Update
Stopped reading this long time ago. Around chapter 476. No depth, and humour is repetitive.

Great character interaction and humor, but an outrageously repetitive plot along with for the most part boring fight scenes drags this Manhwa down.

This manhwa had great potential. When I first started reading I was very excited to see where it went. The characters were funny, interesting, and mysterious. The fight scenes were passable and fresh enough to interest me. The villains managed to be intimidating even though the main character could destroy them without a second thought.

The main characters are still funny and interesting, but scratch everything else.

Every arc is practically the same (Saying practically is being very generous). I'll lay out how almost every arc after the first few go.

1: Bad guys come for nefarious reasons.

2: They kidnap people, most often the useless kids that hang around Rai.

3: M-21 and Friends go to rescue them.

4: They are beaten after giving it their all and lamenting how weak they are.

5: Stronger person comes to save everyone. Most often Frankenstein, but sometimes others.

6: They do well but still can't beat them.

7: Rai shows up and it's over.

There you go. If you aren't interested in the character interactions or humor that go on during and between arcs then this manhwa has nothing to offer you.

The villains are extremely boring as there are almost no consequences to anything they do. Most of them have the same copy and paste personality. As the series goes on the designs get increasingly stupid, culminating in a blueberry colored Majin Buu werewolf thing that made me exclaim "Wow this is dumb". Here's a few lines you'll hear from just about every villain in the series.

"Haha you think you could possibly defeat me!?"
"Hey you're not bad!" (There's seriously one guy that said this like 10 times in the same fight unironically)
"How could I be losing against someone like you!!!1!"

Then they die.

This may seem harsh but it's annoying to read something and know exactly what will happen next without fail.

Give this manhwa a try, you'll probably really like the first few arcs like I did, but try not to expect much more than that.

If, no matter what, you need a good plot to enjoy a story, Noblesse is not for you. The plot's cliche, repetitive and sometimes I even doubt it has been thought out at all. BUT it has its strengths. The characters are very well-rounded and jump off the page, each of them has their own unique personality and quirks, and their interactions with each other feel natural and fluid. The comedy is excellent as well, and is the reason I keep reading. Noblesse offers its own brand of humor that bursts my stitches everytime, and that is relatively hard to find (for me). So, if you're planning to try it, I'd suggest you at least read it till the ramen joke, as that was what sealed the deal for me.

Exact same formula for every single arc

Noblesse has never been known to have a story with much depth. However, the simplicity of it, along with the great art and awesome displays of power, is what makes it such an enjoyable read. Unfortunately, the simple formula that they use repeatedly in every arc, although entertaining at first, gets old. I don't think I need to elaborate because anyone that reads this webtoon knows what I am talking about. It is still definitely worth a read, but do so with low expectations in plot and depth. Be ready to see some repitition!

Noblesse! Noblesse! How I love thee so! Noblesse wherefore art thou so good? Putting aside my horrible Elizabethan English ( it's been too long since I last read any books from olden times) Noblesse is one of the best. Rai 4ever

This series is not bad--in fact, it starts out pretty well: there's just the right balance of humor and fan service (for girls), along with some decent action sequences. The main character is mysterious, and everyone is generally likable.

BUT, soon, everything becomes the same thing repeated without an end. @Moonmystery describes it pretty well. So, this manga is not that great, but it's not that bad either. Give it a try if you're bored, but don't have high expectations.
