It was a nice read. Like I said it has potential. It could've been so much better but it is what it is. I found it a bit predictable and the main protagonist was just annoying. I liked Tristan the best out of the characters. The art is dazzling and beautiful. The plot is good. Not the best but good. And of course it's yaoi so yeah, those scenes were awesome too 😀
Bottom line, I would recommend this book. Why? Hell cause it's yaoi with vampires o

My first Yaoi Novel

After reading the summary and BlackKnight's review, I decided to read it. I must say I am very happy I did. This was a great choice as my first yaoi novel. I am sure I'll read more. I am a sucker(pun attended) for vampire theme stories. I really like the way the author wrote this. It was easy to read/follow and you could see it in your mind. The few illustrations were very nice. You could understand what the charaters where going through and felt for them. It wasn't one of those they meet each other and BAM they are in bed in 5 minutes like some yaoi mangas. I liked the ending, it didn't feel rushed. I highly recommend this novel.

I really did enjoy this novel. I don't read a lot of yaoi novels, but this one caught my eye because of the vampire theme. I was happy I bought it. The story is complex enough to keep the reader's interest, but not so complex that it is confusing. The characters are well-developed and multi-dimensional. You get to know them and in turn care about what happens to them. You really want to see them together and work out their problems. There is plenty of angst and betrayal involved. The vampire Tristan, is a cute and highly motivated character. Isaac is a dedicated hunter who is seriously torn by his emotions and his feelings for Tristan. They hit one rough spot after another. There are a few illustrations, but they average in quality. This does have yaoi content, but not extremely so. The scenes are nicely portrayed. This one isn't overly graphic like some, and the yaoi takes a back seat to the story. I definitely recommend this one.
