Description
Shamisen is a traditional Japanese musical instrument that looks similar to a guitar. Teenager Sawamura Setsu's grandfather who raised him and his older brother Wakana, recently passed away. His grandfather was one of the greatest Shamisen players and the two siblings grew up listening to him play and learning to play the instrument. Since the grandfather's death, Setsu dropped out of high school, moved to Tokyo and has been drifting, not knowing what to do besides play his Shamisen. That's when his successful and rich mother, Umeko storms into his life and tries to shape Setsu up.

So only the prologue has been scanned which is disappointing considering how exhilarating this mangaka makes the shamisen! It definitely has great potential considering the uniqueness. It'll probably be a fusion of traditional and modern music tastes. Also I get the feeling that it'll be a time skip from the prologue to the first chapter (and he'll find another girl eventually but not Yuna). I hope someone picks this up someday so I can write an actual review. I think it's a story I'd buy if it was licensed in english.
I've always loved Ragawa Marimo's work and so far I also really like this one.
The main character is interesting and so far the story seems unique.
I hope more chapters are translated soon since only two chapters have been translated so far.
