I really wasn't feeling this one. They fail to convey any convincing emotion and they're not terribly smutty either, so they didn't have much to offer. I didn't find them to be anything unique, personally. They weren't the worst thing I've ever read, but definitely not something I'd ever come back to.
Good fantasy series

I liked this one. I like series about swords, too, and I fantasy series. I like how the authors managed to weave all the stories together, even though they work as oneshots. I have to say, the ending to the first story was a little cheesy, but I liked the sweetness and drama in all of them. Oh, and the art and character designs are gorgeous - they made an effort to make all the men look different, yay! - and the drawings of (what I assume are) the authors on the authors' page in baby dragon form are cute.
Not over the top fantasy, just right.

The first story was really cute. For most of the parts I just kept going "Aawwww". I'm touched at how the seme worries so much about the uke and ACTUALLY shows it..and the uke in return tries to become deserving of his lover. It's a what you'd call "romantic" plot. How they fight side by side and are each other's strengths.
The second's story is cute as well. It's about El having this unrequited love and when he tries to show it the guy's so oblivious. Gah..such dense people dont actually exist.
Funny, I used cute as an adjective for all of them. XD Well it is a cute story. And the art's cute too. HAhhaa kidding. Actually the art's beautiful. I wish the plots were a lot stronger though to match up with the art. Well they were "one-shots" so I guess you shouldn't expect any more of it. I'm giving it an 8 cause each story gave me a happy feeling. Lol I know it's such a mediocre reason but it's all up to how you feel after reading right?

Spoiler (highlight to view)
But well, his efforts pay off when it turns out Haruaki likes him too so give and take. And lol..the ending was sure a surprise.. I didnt expect Haruaki's family business to be a temple. Well I guess its okay since El's a priest (-_-) But ahhHH! I dont want him to turn bald. Such a waste of hair!
Then 3rd story comes up and they're in it too.. Well more like cameo. BUT NOO HARUAKI'S BALD ALREADY. :'( Anyway, this story had a cute uke. And you could tell the demon had an "ulterior motive" ;) Also its sooo soo cute when he didnt know what salty meant. ah, what a cute demon..really. But I wonder how he fell in love with Toranosuke.. I mean it wasn't mentioned in the story so it felt vague to me in the end.
The last story was about the swords and it was cute too. I actually intended to skip it since they were just spirits but then they did take human form so I gave it a go still. The ending was expected, he lived so it was all good.

This is 1 of my favorite oneshots. I like Duo Brand to begin with, but this 1 is especially good. I love the story with the demon and the guy seeking revenge upon him. The 1st story is great, and I really loved the story Half Moon Passing. None of the stories in this 1 were bad. I was just sorry they were short ones. I would love to see more with some of these characters. The art was great, and helped add to the enjoyment of this 1. I highly reccomend this one.
Very Different.

I must say that I don't often come across many Yaoi that are of this type. But non the least I enjoyed it. The sword fighting and the mystical elements was a nice touch. I don't often read Duo Brand but this had made check them out more.
If you are looking for action in you Yaoi, then this is for you. A perfect blance of romance and action.

I always enjoy when a series of stories is interconnected in a one-shot manga.Personally, nothing really jumped out to me about this comic but I enjoyed reading it all the same, for me the second story was the most stand out despite the awful circumstances that lead to the evolution n their relationship. The others lacked a little bit of oomph for me, maybe because they were already somewhat established relationships. I'm still a bit wavy on the last couples, the demon and the humans', relationship. Overall, though, the story has a nice flow due to the interconnection, I recommend.

I've always loved supernatural and fantasy stories but although this one does have the elements I like, it lacks something. Some part of the story was a little bit too sudden and rushed. More like they lack chemistry. Between the characters I mean and the progress of the story.
It was just an average plot that seems to have quicken it's pace in every scene and page. That being said, I do love the 4th & 7th chapter of Toranosuke and the monster. For the rest...they aren't really my type of story. And I noticed that almost all the characters are wearing glasses!! Why?! Does the mangaka have some kind of glasses fetish? Lol~~

Hmmm... not bad. I've always enjoyed stories about swords, whatever the genre. I liked the one with the demon slayer and the demon the best, followed by the stories about Ninomiya and Nanaki. The story I liked the least was the one about the priest as I felt it didn't really fit into this set of stories and was a bit too bland for me. That said, the art was really good and complemented the series.
