I really can't remember what made me read this but I did anyway and got addicted. Those who think WHY would anyone would be interested in some boring kid...well, all I have to say is go read it and I'm sure you'll fall in love with this series! Yotsuba is so endearing, everything she does. Nuff said! Go read it!!

This manga is absolutely great, there really aren't any negatives about this (at least not yet, but I'll be optimistic and hope for the best).

I first came upon this page on here mangaupdates by looking for similar manga to Hotman, Usagi Drop, and My Girl (Sahara Mizu) but the plot stated really didn't entice me into researching it or reading a single chapter. I was more or less looking for a manga focused primarily on a father-daughter scenario, so I ignored this for awhile. A few weeks later, I found volume 1 in my home, later to know my 11 year old sister borrowed it from her school library. Completely coincidental. I browsed various pages quickly but still ignored it, until the next day when I suddenly felt like reading it (I was really hooked on "fatherly" manga then), so I decided to give this a shot and also show further (scanlated) volumes to my sister who wanted to read the others as she read the first volume three times. That said, it goes to show this manga is by far not something to ignore. After reading the first volume, I was hooked like drugs, and kept reading on that day non-stop until I caught up to the latest chapter (ch. 60); 11 AM to 5 PM

In addition, like others have said, this manga is for everyone, especially those who are down or in sorrow from distress, it would surely cheer them up with a smile.

That's what I feel about this manga. I have to thank some people for telling me to read it, I'd certainly regret it if I didn't.
Yotsuba is hilarious and cute, making the story just entertaining to read. Her daily adventures may be a bit repetitive but that doesn't matter, since this is a slice of life manga. I can't think of a chapter where I haven't laughed. I just love it, the simplicity and the humor is just great. I recommend it to anyone, it's hilarious, if you haven't read it, you're just missing out.

This one of those few manga where, no matter who you are you can enjoy. It has a childlike quality that reminds of when we were young and didn't have troubles; where we could just enjoy life to the fullest.

This is a very special manga, one of my absolute favorites. Read it for the laughs, read it to take your mind off of something, read it for the sake of reading it.

Surprisingly, I really enjoyed this. Yotsuba is the poster girl of refreshing cuteness. It's something you could read all day long, and then start reading again from the beginning the very next day.

Tired of drowning in angst? Want something you can laugh out loud to? Read this.

I've read this for ages, but hadn't commented on it.
It's good. When I read it for the first time, it didn't
hit me right away, but after 2 hours, I was laughing
vigorously all by myself.
Persecute those whom gave it a crap rating.
They should stay in their nothing-but-tits-shōnen
and mildew with them.

Brilliant, wry humor from the creator of Azumanga Daioh (Azuma Kiyohiko). I can't give this anything other than a 10. I've been following this from the start and it's one of only a small handful of titles I'd define as 'essential' reads.

Alright, I'm very hesitant to give anything a rating of 10, but as far as I've read in this series I can't find a reason not too. It's amazingly hilarious, and fun for all ages.

If I had to give this a TV type rating, I'd give it a G with a WARNING: Excessive Laughter May Cause Health Problems - Proceed with Caution!!!

Yotsubato! is probably among the most hilarious things I have ever been exposed to. The characters are quirky and endearing, and the idyllic suburban background only helps to accentuate their traits and make the whole thing even more uplifting than it already was. I honestly don't even want to know what kind of person cannot enjoy something like this- everyone should give this a shot, your taste doesn't matter.

Read this! It's cute humour and very much a slice of life.
When you need to smile and leave your worries behind, this manga is for you.
Can get boring and tedious because there's no plot, but plenty of narratives.
