Laugh riot!

I've never laughed so hard at so many pages in one sitting until this one. This is really a mood lifter from seeing how insufferable the characters in most manga are. A really refreshing take on what we all ignore and regard as "petty" and "trivial" things.

All aspiring child-psychologists should be made to take an exam on this manga before getting their qualifications.

Some of the best comedy ever!!
Do not eat/drink stuff while reading this, because you'll end up staining the manga/monitor as a result from all the laughter.

Two thumbs and two big toes up!!

I don't like giving perfect ratings to anything and I actually tried to think of a reason to give this less than a 10, but I just couldn't find any. For what it is, a light and simple, very funny and uplifting slice of life about an adorably innocent and curious little girl, it's simply perfect.

Occasionally, I'm reminded of some of the funnier scenes by things in life and I'll smile and laugh little inside just from remembering it. I don't think any other manga has had that effect for me before.

There is not much to this story other than simply will laugh so hard that your stomach will hurt and your tears will come out, gosh even my throat is sore from laughing so loud. Yotsuba is a plain wacky kid. Although her father looks like none of his screws are loose, the way he acts sometimes make me wonder if maybe he's not just really good at hiding it? The mom next door is also in the same wavelength as Yotsuba. I laugh every time she interacts with her "demon child"!

Yotsubato! is basically the manga version of Kids Say (and do) The Darndest Things. The manga revolves around Yotsuba adjusting to Japanese life (it's not totally understood where her last place of residence was, although if she can speak japanese, albeit not always perfectly...I suppose it means she's lived there for awhile.) Yotsuba is basically adopted by a single father, although she refer's to the mother next door as mom.

whenever you're feeling down. read this smile it always works for me. very funny, this will lighten your mood up!

in any case, however you're feeling at the moment, this is a very good read! i don't find mangas that can make me laugh like this so often. (Even -in my humblest opinion ladies and gentlemen- Azumanga Daioh, another manga done by the same author isn't as hilarious.)

Go Yotsuba! biggrin i love her

If you have a bad day or feel down, read Yotsubato! It is so lightwarming and funny you just can't resist to get in a better mood. I really tried to find bad points because I couldn't believe that I really like such a simple, stupid and yet lovely kind of manga, well in the end Yotsubato won. So again if you need to be cheered up or just want to laugh about the simple things in life, read it, you won't regret it. But be warned, once you start reading it there is no other option than loving it.

I will tell you this, when i first saw this manga i thought it was a piece of crap and i refused to read it. But one day, i got really really bored, and i decided what the hell i might as well try it out since i have nothing else better to do. This manga is probably one of the only few that has made me laugh out so hard that i started to cry. Its a light hearted story of a little girl, her father, her friends, and the adventures that they have. Its epic, seriously i really recommend this series....the expressions on that she makes are so freakin priceless

It's not a 10 to raise the score. This series deserves the perfect 10. Those who give it less. It's either not your genre. If it is your genre name me a series that's better than this.
