Hiyaku Act 1: Separation
Kurama the human has managed to keep Youko Kurama suppressed for years... but no longer. The youko emerges, gaining an independent existence. And what does he want? Merely to destroy Minamino Shuuichi and what Minamino Shuuichi loves best... Hiei.

The youko gains ascendancy. Hiei is his plaything to be tormented at leisure. Kurama the human is getting weaker by the hour. It seems that nothing can stop him...but he hasn't reckoned on the strength of Kurama's human will.

Beautiful artwork coupled with a fantastic, utterly credible storyline (with references to the original story here and there) as Kurama and Hiei are in-character.
After reading this, you will never want to read another Yu Yu Hakusho doujinshi again since you'd be comparing them all against this. And this is a very hard bar to reach, let alone surpass.
