It lacks good storytelling

It had all the elements for a genuinly amazing manga (difference in background, different familial struggkes, etc), buthe storytelling lacked depth...
If the mangaka took longer to develop the characters, and used more "show don't tell" instead of rushing into the story, then it would have turned into a great story.
Too bad...

While I agree that it was pretty predictable, the portrayal of both characters in their different sides was great!!! I like how sensitive both of the mcs are! And it wasn't really annoying!

except for the part where Ginga was mad when Ouji gave him bucks. Tho I understand that Ginga's pride was threatened, he should've just reassured Ouji about the issue. But nooo, the story would've been bland if the issue would be resolve quickly lol

I've read most of Ootsuki Miu's works and by far this one is the most dissatisfying I've read. Nevermind the cliche, I was actually into the story. It had the makings of a long read, perhaps at least 3 volumes but it just ended like that.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
They didn't reach the point where they have to confront reality and Ouji being the heir of the conglomerate, a possible arranged marriage, and tons of other conflicts. It just...stopped at an inconvenient point.

Honestly, this isn't the first manga that's disappointed me but it's one of those manga that I just can't recommend to others. The way it took me in and left me so abruptly made me feel that I wasted time reading.

Not too bad but not too good either. Maybe average?

Hmm, if I must be honest I'd say that this manga is not exactly up too par with what Ootsuki Miu-sensei can do. The story is frankly quite mediocre imo, and doesn't offer a lot of opportunities for anything too new or exciting. Even the characters don't have a lot of charm to them aside from the fact that there's no non-con in their relationship (I've come across enough 'adorably useless' characters that one-dimensional goofballs like the one in this manga don't really do anything for me - plus his lover is too plain and not in a good way). Or maybe it's just me. Either way, I truly wish there were a bit more substance and better explanation/development for certain details in the story.

Now, the artwork inside the book is quite good actually, as expected from the mangaka, but I wish she could have made the cover a bit more appealing. One of the reasons I put this manga off for so long was also because of that.

Very typical storyline, great art, nothing more. I find most of the characters pretty boring, it's like those common characters that you can find anywhere. I was expecting more from Ootsuki Miu sensei since all the other works done by sensei was pretty good.
