For a one-shot, this was a great well-thought out story with plenty of detailed hot sex! The mangaka goes into great details about the boy's first time... How sexy!!

The artwork was great! I love their hair and facial shapes!

The story line wasn't bad because it was explained before the characters ended up began to overwhelm you into confusion in a hot sex scene like most one-shot yaoi mangas.

Yes it has a very predictable plot, with the usual pin-my-uke-down-and-do-what-i-like type of seme, but let's face it, there are times when we all want some good typical yaoi. It does have some originality too though; the uke isn't a crybaby nor does he (really) protest to having sex, which is a nice change to the copious amount of non-con in most other BL manga.
The art is pretty (not my favourite as I prefer a bit more definition but it's still good), and the relationship is sweet. There's also a lot of smex with plenty of dirty talk (which I found to be quite funny actually... though that's probably not how it was intended) ^__^
The extra chapter was really good too, poor Takahara heh XD

Anytime I am stressed out or want to read something fun with gorgeous art, I come to read this delicious delicacy. It's yummy in so many ways, the art, the story, the cuteness, fluffiness, sexiness, smutiness, yaoiness.....I can go on. I love this story so much and recommend it to yaoi fans who like lots of sex scenes with lots of love on top of it.

Anyway this is great, i liked the related manga which i read first, but this is brilliant, its funny, its cute, its sweet and its sexy. I also now have a severe craving for pastries... and im not the sort that likes sweets very much, but after reading this i've got a real ache for some fresh cream pastries o.o

Anyway, this is the manga equivalent of a delicious pastry XD read it and enjoy!

It is totally predictable, not only the plot but what was going to come out of their relationship (meaning the past too), but I liked what happened, because I kind of expected something else (And Minami-sensei's idea was better than mine ;P)
The characters are stereoptical: the forceful, but gentle seme; and the cute uke. But they ARE the kinds we like after all, aren't they? Just can't get enough.

The art, as always from Minami-sensei, is perfect. I really got confused with the Hasunobe brothers as I couldn't tell them apart easily, though. As for sex, I got used to getting so much of it because it IS Minami Haruka, after all, but especially in this one, I thought it suited the situation well and was even necessary.

But what I liked the most was that, instead of crying, whining and having an internal conflict about loving the seme and being obbliged to have sex with him, Yuushi simply enjoys it.
For this reason, it doesn't have much angst (and I love angst), but I thought it was a really good way to differ from the common "sex in order to get a deal" situation.

9/10 (I prefer deeper plots and developed characters, so I won't give it a 10), so...what are you waiting for? Start reading ;D

This was one of my fave of Haruka sensei! I really great read. Very sweet at the end ^^

*of course the smuttiness and the smex was HOTT*

In terms of art, MINAMI Haruka's drawings are the best in my opinion. I just love the outline of each characters but sometimes the characters looks the same. Basically this manga is SEX>PLOT, that's always have been for MINAMI Haruka's works. The art is just so great that it keep me from finishing this series. Overall the story was you're typical manga and ended nicely.

it's a typical yaoi-type story actually.. but the artwork's pretty good and the story's rather cute and touching at times.. so on the whole it's readable...
the sex scenes are long and graphic though...

Sweet is, by far, one of the most erotic works done by Haruka Minami.

The plot is very predictable and very common in the yaoi genre if you ask me, but with a lot of erotic scenes and the uke's manner of succumbing to such an extent without any deep regret or pain after the "act" is a way of making me feel more light-hearted towards the story rather than in a pitiful and sad manner that sometimes leads the seme as the antagonist in between the plot of the story. The drawings are wonderful [as usual] and expect a lot of smut.

I really liked this one. Make no mistake- this is a VERY typical yaoi (confident aggressive seme asks for sexual favors from sweet and cute uke in exchange for something), but it's well done for its genre. There are quite a lot of sex scenes for such a short story (hence the smut comment) and they're explicit and long with bonus whipped cream. The big "secret" of the story is totally predictable but the big reveal was still sweet and touching.

I must say the scanlation team really did a great job with this!
