Description

After being abandoned in the forest, Master saved her. She's been staying with him ever since, but he left her one day. Bringing her to the place of his relative, he promised her that he will come for her someday. All she has left is the bell he left for her. Eight years have passed, Tamao is still waiting for him. Kengo, the child of the family she's living with, has always been in love with her. Despite being a model and the center of attraction of the girls, he was unable to catch her eyes. This manga looks like it has the potential to be really good, but there's only 3 chapters out, and minus the fact that there's an option to read the spoiler below (which I haven't read)... I would really like to be able to read the rest for myself. I think that the plot develops well and I'm at the point where I'm curious as to what will happen next!
Yeah, thanks for the spoiler. I already expect that she will end up with Kengo. That's pretty common in Shoujo manga to be. I'm rooting for Kengo

I hate Master so much
I am so happy with this ending. In fact I Iiked him so much more. Kinda I knew this will be the ending from the beginning but I still had doubts.Thanks for the spoiler,now I will read this manga with much more pleasure!!!!!!!

Dissapointed by the spoiler below. So she ended up with the other guy? Really dissapointing. Sure he said he would come back for her,but I don't think so. Appreciate the spoilers but don't like the ending :-/

Around volume 4, Tamao agrees to leave the human world behind and go back with Master the temple where they'd lived until she was 8. However humans can not live in the spirit world, so Tamao would have to undergo a ceremony that severs her soul from her mortal body and binds her to Master's kami-energy. At first Master is reluctant to mention it to her, but when Tamao finds out he offers to erase her memories of the time she spent in the human world so she won't be upset about having to chose between him and her human friends. They argue a bit and Tamao ends up shouting "I'm not like you-- *I* am a human!" After that, Master understands it's too selfish to ask her to give up her life as a human and so he gives her up instead-- He seals away all her memories of him and returns her to the human world. All of Tamao's friends don't remember Master ever existed at all, only Kengo remembers for some reason. Without the memories of her childhood being raised in the temple by Master, Tamao is exactly like other girls her age and doesn't have the problems with making friends or fitting in that we saw in the first 3 volumes. One year passes and Tamao and Kengo even begin dating. Right near the end of the series there is a bit of drama and in order to save Kengo, Tamao has to use her special abilities and reawakens her memories of Master. Then, Master is about to fade out of existence because the alter where he was first deified however-many centuries ago is disturbed in the real world, Tamao and Kengo have to save him. After that, Master returns with his vassals and some other kami to the spirit world and his parting words to Tamao are the instructions that she must live a long and happy life-- longer than Kengo, so that once Kengo dies, Master can once again come back for her. On the last page Tamao and Kengo walk away holding hands.
This manga is so awkward. None of the characters, in any way, feel like they could be "real people". It's like a high school play made into a manga, all poor acting intact. I don't know, I don't like it. The author needs to learn more, it seems.
Not bad, the mystery will definately keep me going and I'm curious to see who this 'master' is. I'm still trying to figure out the plot as of chapter 3, as we aren't really given all that much apart from bits and peices of Tamaos background.
I'm not particularly fond of doormat heroines though, and unfortunately Tamao has not shown any spark to her character yet. I'm hoping the blind faith she seems to have in her 'master' will change, but it makes me feel rather sorry for the childhood friend, who seems to be the third wheel so far.
Again, not bad - but would be better if Tamao displayed more personality. It's way to early to judge based on this alone though, and hopefully things will improve later on.

Though, only two chapters are released but I think I'm addicted! I really enjoy this Manga. The characters are beautifully drawn and the story line...It's mysterious. It's only two chapters so I don't really have much details. The "Master" is soooooo beautiful and hottt. There is something very mysterious about "Master". He's definitely not human but what exactly is he? I guess, I'll have to wait. I can't wait for the new chapters! There's a little bit of comedy in here too. The main girl fantasizes about her master and she gets a nosebleed. How cute...Well her master is very handsome. Sengo, the guy who is inloved with her. He's also very cute but his beauty cannot beat "Master". Unfortunately, the Master's name is not yet relieved so I'll have to address his name was "Master". Though it's only two chapters.
