very shounen, generic story and plot, so predictable, lame and overused characters in other words its cliched its just the same as the other shounen manga its like just any mainstream shounen manga with a the main focus as onmyouji

well its just not for me but ive seen manga with the same genre thats a lot better than this

To be honest, reading the first few chapters, I didn't expect much of it. But I kept reading...and reading..and reading....and then it just got better...and better...AND BETTER!

Reading the story description above, I had a totally different expectation of it; it sounded like it would be flooded with cliches, but how WRONG I was! haha! So many unexpected (but fun) twists and likeable characters, with a pretty admirable main character.

I'm too lazy to explain exactly why I love it, but this IS a VERY good series smile
(ps. Kon is totally my favourite character yet! xD)

The main character is like a child. He doesn't have the ability to pick up on the subtle even in the most obvious situations. In otherwords, he is stupid. He gets abused with all the cliches that come with that as well. Being misunderstood by potential love interest(s), etc.

I don't really find the tsundere funny anymore in that respect. The comedy is too forced and predictable overall.

If you ignore those parts, its above average otherwise short of being good due to poorly executed cliches. Recommended reading for those who don't have anything else to read.

This manga so far is very generic and pretty damn mainstream. This is not a bad thing because it's done better than most. The art is good, the characters are hilarious and endearing despite bordering on cliched archetypes, and I'm really looking forward to where the plot and the relationships go.

Looks like a promising Fantasy-Romance-Comedy. There are some original themes
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Like that Shinigami - Absolute obediance thing...(looks a little bit like "Zero's familliar")
and your obvious love triangle, Tsundere etc. Ok, that is not original, ...yes, it's standard, but funny non the less...
And the fantasy aspect seems to be quite ... well ... fantastic and individual
Spoiler (highlight to view)
That doll like thing at the end of chapter 1.
