quite entertaining actually. interesting to have a sneak peak into the young evolving mangaka. like how it's interesting to see how stand-up comedians started at. they were funny and promising, but unpolished. rough edges. ^^

i enjoy one piece, and these short stories are no different. they are simple stories - a super cool guy with incredible talent show off his madz skillz - but the execution that made them delightful. they are funny and fast paced, one just enjoy the flow when reading it. the art are very simple and somehow rough, i don't really take to it, but i think it is perfect for the type of adventure gag story oda sensei wanted to tell.

This is how One Piece should have been ... "Short".
Art sucks, but overall stories are not bad actually (and I think this mangaka sucks). Quite enjoyable if you have nothing else to do.
