Forced romance

I hate this kind of romance where the 2nd guy just kinds of forces himself on the girl until she gives in. This was one of those comics where i really rooted for the girl to reject the guy.

Wao, not bad...the last chapter was really emotional,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
knowing that sempai likes her from the beginning
, man sadness. Oh well, there's always the other guy~ Walao...and then Lost in First Love was crazy infectious, it made me feel all tingly inside, dang good mangaka. The last one was okay...i guess.

I don't think I ever seen a oneshot where a girl rescues a guy lol, and that she gets knocked out over her heroism. I personally love this one too since that the girl falls in love with the nice guy over her jerky bf

As for the others, they're not as bad as the reviews say, it was a decent shoujo read, although, yes the girl was quite mean to the guy, but not in a very unrealistic way. The second story, was meh, although cute and nice with a girl falling for a guy that confesses to her. The last story was my favourite, despite of the older art.

Enjoyable

Enjoyable light reading is my thought for all stories in this manga. If i have to put ratings and comments for each stories, it would be like this.

Air Koi = 8/10, It IS has the same theme with Full Moon wo Sagashite but i liked this one better (^_^). I loved the hero character Tarou. He reminds me of the male main character from Yoko Matsumoto work titled Sukuranburu Domei. The heroine actually is a likeable person but become stubborn out of fear for the truth. Story is predictable but i found it's sweet thanks to Tarou ladies-first character.

Lost in a First Love = 9/10, i liked both main character, Aisawa and Osawa. This one is another simple story about a true love never fade. Too bad it's only consisted of one chapter.

Love Materializes = 7/10, I don't really like this kind of story but since it's a happy ending i though it's OK. But the artworks a bit downer to me especially after seeing the first two stories (i guess this is one of the author earlier works).

The art is cute but the story was...eh. BEFORE anyone thinks that I have no heart or something, I have a very good reason to think this way. The story has soooooooo much resemblance to Fullmoon wo Sagashite it's not even funny...the girl's reaction when saying

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
"don't come into my heart" and the senpai's death....i knew he was dead when she wanted tarou to stay away from her and not get close to her. =_=

If anything, it's a super short version of Fullmoon wo Sagashite...Niina = Mitsuki and the senpai = Eichi. If I hadn't read Fullmoon wo Sagashite before this, I'm sure I would've cried. I'm easily touched, but this is definitely not original in my opinion. I can't help but think that this author may have taken the idea from Arina Tanemura. Of course the author might've really came up with the plot by herself, but seeing how popular Arina Tanemura used to be (or is still, I'm not quite sure), it wouldn't be far fetched to say that she has probably read Fullmoon wo Sagashite. But of course I could be wrong. But anyone who has read Fullmoon and this cannot deny the fact that there are just too many similarities in not only the plot but even some parts of the dialogue.

Art: 9/10

Story:6/10 for orginality (I gave it a 6 because the taking pictures part was pretty creative, the only difference I see between Fullmoon and this) PS the person below me said there is angst and drama in the story, and I agree, but it's not executed very well. I see it as forced angst and drama. Oh but at least the ending was cute. I liked how she didn't actually go through all that trouble for nothing...even though she needed the help of Tarou.

Characters: 6/10 Hm I didn't feel any connection with the characters at all. I felt that the relationship was forced on too quickly (yes I know it's only 3 chapters). Plus, the main character bothered me a lot too...maybe because I also didn't like Mitsuki from Fullmoon and she's a lot like her. Tarou was better at least.

Overall, 6/10. Why? Just because the art is great doesn't change the fact that the story has been used before. This author has written better manga that didn't have all the forced angst.

i didn't like it sad
I know I should feel sorry for the girl but she really pisses me off. I think it was because of the way the story was told, (or maybe her personality?) but it's not my cup of tea. still, if you want too much angst and drama in a manga, you can try this.
