Description
In the immediate future, a giant meteorite has collided with earth. All living organisms, including mankind, have been wiped off the face of the planet. The government, who had foreseen this outcome, took measures to counter the worst-case scenario. In particular was Project "7 SEEDS", in which five sets of seven gifted young men and women were carefully selected and placed into teams (Spring, Summer A, Summer B, Autumn and Winter). Each participant was then put under cryogenic sleep in hopes of preserving the continued existence of mankind.

Scary and Suspenseful

The artwork is rather average, but in a manga with this interesting of a plot, I've managed to forget about that fact.
It doesn't focus on character relationships that are moving too fast. The only "romantic" realationship so far is Hana and Arashi, but they don't know that they're both alive.
But to sum it all up:
Face it: it's a really good manga that is a total must-read. A great horror manga that really has you at the edge of your seat wanting more. The art my not be the best, but before you know it, the art will be forgoten and you'll be so wraped up!

Spoiler (highlight to view)
It did seem kinda ... when Team Winter was introduced and all but one were killed off in a single chapter, but it did become a rather decent plot point...
Also, when Team Summer B was split in two, I began to wish the story would get to them sometime, because half of that team became almost non-existant.
People might be commenting that there are too many characters, but there aren't as many as they say. There can be 35 characters maximum, and there isn't that many. (28 characters if you get rid of the dead ones that never became major-major... 21 if you don't count Team Summer A, as they are also non-existant at this point... 17 if you consider that part of Team Summer B haven't appeared in so long... 10 if you remove Team Autumn because they're... youknow... so 10 characters that actually matter at this point...)

Another super manga

....A super manga, with artwork close to ugly. Still it's awesome. Sometimes I think only mangaka with unpretty artwork can create the best manga, while perhaps mangaka with pretty artwork don't need to create anything spectacular to gather fans so they don't. Or something like that (with some exceptions, of course). Still I wish 7 Seeds had a better artwork, just to make it perfect.
I've read till vol 9 and I don't want to think about this manga at all because if I do then I can't wait to read the next volumes. And one more thing, there's no way this manga can end happily because well, considering the situations how can any of them be truly happy? That of course if they manage to survive.
I'm not giving a rating higher than 9 only because it's not finished yet. Tamura-sensei with her tamu-tamu time has created a powerful manga, a must read.

If you're a fan of the tv series Lost or anything survival you will love 7 seeds. The art does take some getting used to and there are lots of characters to keep track of but I don't have a problem with that in fact it's one of my favorite things about the manga. They compliment each other very well. Let's hope this manga attracts more attention, 5 vols in 3 years is a long wait.

Ok, this is not a bad story to read. The plot is different and the story makes you want to continue reading to see what happens. Charaters are average and the art is ok. I really want to continue this manga if those translators can put up a chapter anytime soon, its like they stopped doing it, kinda fustrating because i want to continue this things without reading raws.
Yay!

This has to be one of the best survival stories I've ever read. I absolutely love the characters, and the storyline.
The art really bothers me in the beginning, though it does get better. Or maybe I just am getting used to it? No matter, I still love this manga, and am waiting for new releases. ^^

When I started to understand the plot line as the story unfolded, I became addicted to it. I like it very much and I want more chapters!
Spoiler:
I think that the story follows perfectly what it is supposed to. As for the situation, many people will die in a place like this, it would be too unreal to let them be all so damn lucky. It's also, and more importantly, a poetic story, that bit by bit will show the stories of all the teams and make we like them very much, as well as acknowledge them as strong people despite their origins. There's so much to explore in a plot like this, and Tamura sensei is intelligent enough to do that. She set her mind in who would be the protagonists but had time give credit to all of he characters, witch is really great. It would be a pitty if she gave them all the same age, too unreasonable. When you see different people, there's much more to explore and it becomes more interesting. I think this story here shows us a great will of survival, and is thrilling to see what will happen next.

This manga has a good story flow and the characters are interesting. I wish more chapters were out. The story really sucks you into it around volume 2. Its a great read on a rainy or slow day.
