This is completely different from what Kaori Yuki usually does.

This is completely different from what Kaori Yuki usually does, and I'm not 100% sure where she's going with this. I feel like it's moving too quickly, and some characters are killed off without much reason. What about Sorato's friend's? I think the mangaka should have done a little more research before she got herself into this, and not only that but am I the only one who feels like her art feels rushed/sloppy? It started becoming like this just as her previous manga Ningyou Kyuutei Gakudan was ending.

Well if people read more carefully they'd notice that they
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
traveled through dimension/time to the present time and the Demon Lord is still present even 100 years later, looking for the lost demon child. He only found out recently that this demon child is still alive, so I guess the action will pick up from here. Until now we had only Mephisto to worry about.... oh dear.
This story may be told in a chaotic way, but every information you need is in there.

I must agree that the plot is far too fast-paced, at least the first part. Especially with what happened to Sorato's best friend - that was so confusing and bizarre.

This is a very disjointed story. The story starts off simple, in 1800s Japan a mysterious lower class boy is rescued by a high class boy and becomes entangled in love triangle...

And then it involves necromantic occult works, an unexplained conflict between humans and demons, the setting fast-forwards to the modern day and being manipulated children somehow makes you a terrible person. All this is wrapped up in a flurry of demonic names and references that are never explained in the story.

liked it. it could have been a little more smoothly transitioned as in-tuition mentioned. maybe its not planned to be very many issues.
but the mystery/suspense aspect is done pretty well. i am looking forward to the next realease and i hope Omaris sister gives it a chance with some more releases.

I was expecting much more from Kaori Yuki, but as only the first chapter has been released for this series, I can't say much of it so far.

Chapter 1 has too many things going on at once. You meet the three main characters, but their story isn't laid out for neatly. In addition, the antagonist is introduced as well. It's all a big chaotic mess basically.

I also dislike how the scenes don't transition smoothly. For example, the characters are in the middle of a conversation and suddenly, that baron guy appears randomly, and you're left wondering where the hell he came from. This would have worked out if this series was a comedy, but it isn't. It's supposed to be a very serious, dramatic manga.

I'm hoping more things will be explained in the next chapter. Hopefully it will be much better than chapter 1.
