It's alright.

The art is particularly beautiful: intricate, quirky and clean at the same time. However, that's where the magic stops; the plot is decent but somewhat boring, and the characters appear somewhat shallow and two-dimensional. However, the fantasy twist is really interesting, and helps to salvage the work, making it quite readable overall.

good art...simple plot....good twists...great character growth(on all sides)....good (and non cheesy and/or cheap) use of deus ex machina(if u can call it tht)....

altho arabian....hahahahaha.....the only thing arabian was camels, deserts, and a few of the names..(well maybe the title, although inacurate arabic..well i suppose its engrish equivalent of arabic).....even the other false stereotypes ppl hold of ancient(and even current) arabs are not here.....it has worse descriptions than tht........
but dont let tht turn u away too much...its great otherwise

Chisato's best so far!

Why are Chisato's works so short? They hold such potential and then... they stop. This work is no exception. The plot and the characters are both wonderful and the manga was enjoyable to read. But it could have been expounded more, and when it ended it was wrapped up nicely but it could have been smoother and more drawn out. However it's still a nice manga and I would say that so far it is Chisato's best work!

Plot- Dragons are one of my favorite mythical creatures, so any story involving dragons instantly captures my attention. I love how this plot handles the dragons, it’s interesting and different. The plot: two males (frenemies if I may use that term...) forced (?) to help these two dragon girls restore their mother. The plot is nice, but as I mentioned, it would have been better if things had been a little more drawn out. Just a little bit... the pace stays pretty even and the climax was decent. I enjoyed the story but there were some plot points and characters that could have been expounded upon.

Characters- The four mains are unique and interesting, it was fun to watch them and I liked seeing the development of these characters. I don't have much more to say about this... the thief (I already forget his name!) was my favorite!

Art- As usual, utterly beautiful! The colored pages were the best!

Other- The story was a very good short, and I'd definitely recommend it.

6/10- Liked it

I always loved Nesumi Chisato's art and coloring, they're always so pretty and have a fairy tale feel to them <3
Jauhara Lailah is nice story with a strong 'bromance' element to it which Chisato seems to be fond of. xD Heheheh, it only makes this story better!
I don't really know what series I can compare this to so I can't say things are cliche, but I think that's just her style, doing things differently from typical shoujo, awwwaaaaay from cliche romance and only having romance as a spice to enhance the flavor of this series. It's quite enjoyable really. ^^
If you're a Chisato fan, you won't be disappointed by this series, and you'll only regret it if you don't read it.
