Good manga

I liked this manga. It was good, although not one of my favorites.
I liked the strong-willed girl, and her way of dealing with things.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
But I didn't like the way she doesn't accept the confession of Sakura. It doesn't work well, and I'm glad that the mangaka dropped any attempt on prolonging that part.

So you would ask, why the 7? Well, I think it probably should have been a little more develloped in some aspects, and the drawings were a little confusing sometimes, as the people had very similar features. And well, I give high marks to the very special mangas, so, I may seem to you a little harsh smile
But all in all, a good manga, nice plot and good devellopment of characters. Read it smile But avoid the side story. I though it was just not interesting and plain. Bleh...

I like this manga a lot.
Aria, the main girl, is strong-willed, fast-paced, ambitious, and sort of rash. She's a good fighter. She kicks ass--as the other comment says.
When she met Sakura (the main guy), the world of reality that she lives in crumbled. She learned of the curse that is passed down in her family. The demon is out to kill all of her relatives--all 4000 of them--because of a grudge (of sort) that he held 400 years ago with the ancestor of the family.
Present day, the demon had possessed the body of Sakura. The demon is threatened to take over Sakura's body and go on a murder rampage. The one with the power to stop the demon's conscious to take over Sakura's body is--you guess it--Aria.

The manga, though, pretty complex--still left some loose ends, questions that aren't answered. (it's completely scanlated). But nothing serious. If you don't think too hard about the plot, you wouldn't notice it, haha, and you shouldn't since it's meant for entertainment after all... I wish the story was longer (it's 26 chapters)... Some of the characters are not well developed at all--Come to think of it, I don't even think the main characters are well developed. The whole manga focuses a lot on the background story, which thankfully is quite interesting--and sort of ignored the characterization a bit here and there. A bit disappointed about that since I do like Aria and Sakura. Would loved to see their characters a bit more outside the fights and the worry and the crying...

The romance is good. We knew they had something for each other from the very beginning, but it's not expressed mutually until around the middle (?) of the manga. Not a handi or anything; I think it's a nice change of pace.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Aria didn't realize she's in love with Sakura until towards the end...haha

The drawing: reminds me a bit of CLAMP's and Nakamura Yoshiki (of Tokyo Crazy Paradise)'s art work. ... on a second thought, that might not be the best comparison, but right now those are the two names that popped into my head. That is to say; the art is very nice. The proportion of the body is superb. The face is weird sometimes, but not something to be alarmed about--still quite well drawn. The clothes --of thank god for this--is on the good side! (I just got off reading Tokyo Crazy Paradise again and couldn't keep the thought of how bad the fashion was to myself..sorry). If you are looking for a good fight-related manga...Obviously there are some supernatural elements thrown in, which in my opinion makes the fights some what harder to follow. Is it a good fight-related manga? I'd say average since the fights didn't get my blood pumping.

Despite all the complaints I had about this manga (mainly just the length of the manga), I really did enjoyed it, and because of that I rated a 9.

This is probably one of the best manga i ve ever read. The characters are great, the storyline is awesome, and the art is pretty great too. I love how the heroine is kickass and strong and not one of those crybabies, though she kinda annoy me sometimes. Its a really good manga overall though

Loved it! Of course I always love it when the heroine is kick ass! This manga is gripping from the get go, and doesn't make stupid mistakes. There was just enough focus on the romance to tingle and just enough action to set one's heart racing. Absolutely fantastic. Definitely on my classics list.

It's good. The plot can be guessed right from ch1 and u can sorta guess the end too. But i still read it, for the love of the clean art in it, which makes me feels nostalgic. And i got nothing to lose since it's "shoujo romance" too. If you'd like to find some nice relaxing (not really for those who cant guess the end) read, then this is the manga for you. And rating it 9 isnt just because i'm being nice.

Great Work!

Its the first work I read from this mangaka because I like longer series better BUT thanks to my curiosity I gave this a shot... Simply amazing, great plot and character development for "only" 6 volumes. Even though I had to cry a bit and wasn't totally satisfied at the end, I simply had a good feeling. The plot isn't too "heavy" but some really substantial ideas about surviving are worked out really interesting.

The only possible complaint would be the older style shoujo anatomy (those shoulders are just ridiculous at times!)

Original, beautiful, makes you question the male protagonist all through the story. The heroine is fantastic, and not the generic weak-but-good-heart OR the strong-but-good-heart. Because let's be honest...the latter is becoming the more common one these day.s :/

Anyway...yes. I highly recommend it, and ESPECIALLY the licensed version. Go! Comi did a fantastic job as always. Definitely worth the money.

This manga is really unique. The plot is well thought of and the characters have great personalities. The main character (Aria) is strong, determined and straight forward. And the second main character (Sakura) is amazingly endurant, cheerful and lovable despite his position and the romance between Sakura and Aria is heart squeezing.

I definitely recomend this manga and I think everyone should read it. It's wonderful.
