Description
A bitter sweet tale of unrequited love and the universal fear of rejection.
Although high school student Yutaka is in a casual relationship with his best friend Daisuke, he's in love with Shuuhei who regards him a sex friend. Yataka couldn't tell Shuuhei his real feelings because he knows Shuuhei is in love with his own step brother, Tamaki. Daisuke also nurses feelings for Yutaka, but chooses to remain as a sex friend as well, instead. [CJ]

Guys, this isn't incomplete or a compilation of plots together without a purpose. And it's not made to be a prequel or sequel to anything.
It is a sad, heartbreaking story about unrequited love.
Each character loves another, and yet they all choose to remain silent because of fear. It's real, painful and amazingly deep.
I understand it is very difficult to understand indeed (no pun intended!), but once you get there, it's freaking intense.

I really loved this one shot because the art is beautiful, the story is concise, sad but very poetic. I also suspect this oneshot was the inspiration to Azuma-sensei make the serie "Silence" because the theme is the same in both mangas.
It's like a volume worth of story, squeezed into a one shot, where I can't tell the characters apart. The art is certainly pretty, and I agree with people that this has potential, but the execution was bad.
I too was confused on the writers story, so I had to figure it on my own...which doesn't really mean anything if it isn't the intended one. Heres hoping that someone wiser and more skilled at story interpretation will write an accurate description shedding some light for those of us who aren't so on the up and up.
Too short!!! I wish it was longer instead of just a one-shot... So many things left hanging... This has so much potential in it!!! *sighs*
i know! i wish there was a sequel. it has so much potential to be really good, y'know? and a prequel would be nice too.
i think this oneshot needs sequel, since the ending li'l bit confused me.. (only me, huh?)
