It's too much stuff packed in too litle space.... it feels as if i'm reading 60 pages long chapter when i'm actually reading 20 pages long one... jokes are forced, not funny, and repetetive... even through idea behind story is great, and so is the setting, whole impression is not too good.... also some of the sentences seem to finish without proper conclusion... ie ... someone is talking about something half the page and then just stops without reaching anything. O___O or reaching something obvious that was stated at the begining of the monolog. Through i don't know why but each time i see the main character striking a certain pose of pointing the finger into the air with strait hand ....and the beams of setting sun coming from the tip of his finger ... somehow "Fallout" mascot comes to my mind =^^= even through it's different pose

It's awfully cliche, same read as you've had in better mangas... maybe Judge or Doubt, but with superpowers. Reminds me a bit of Gantz too. Of course, it's dark and there's a mystery, but the main characters feel worn out through their better shown siblings in better mangas. Everything seems so blasse, you'll think you've read it somewhere else where it's done better than here... even though you may not have read anything similar. The plot twists are ok, and nothing rattles my bones enough to keep reading this. I would only read it if I had nothing else to read. It's that engaging.

I'll try to be as much fair as I can. The manga itself is more of seinen, than shounen. Main character is utter stupid with an ability that is just... So weird! The other characters are the generic shounen archetype and nobody caught my interest.

Lately, Weekly Shonen Jump is not performing quite well with their series, with most so far being axed far too soon, let only original or unique. Enigma, however, offers something different and maybe the one series to survive and expand.

Instead of the usual deliquent battle and fantasy-esque adventures, Enigma is a mystery manga mixed with supernatural, where each character supposedly have a unique talent in a bizarre and strange game they're force to participate.

I have to say, I'm impress how the series going so far, and hopefully, for the sake of WSJ, it manages to thrive with each chapter.
