I don't know. There were cute and sweet stories but then some weren't that good. It was mostly cos they were oneshots and were lacking in plot and characters' depth. I wasn't that impressed with this book, but it was still on OK read. And the art was decent to.
Uneven, but charming

This is a collection of a few one or two shots. The stories are rather charming. The author does a very decent job conveying realistic characters and emotions in short stories. The sex scenes are not very explicit -- these are much moreso romances. The only real draw back is that the MCs of all of the stories in the collection look the same (e.g. It looks like the author used the same models). I would like to see a longer work by this author with more developed MCs and side characters.

The sweet pain of the relationship was expressed so well. The initial naivety and the eventual turnabout, so good! The mothers' and others reactions were fairly realistic. How Japanese, non-confronting and indirect but the disapproval was blatant. I liked the ambiguous yet hopeful ending as well. My favourite oneshot among these.
My rating is mainly for this chapter.
The main stroy was pretty cute too. I liked the trusting and loving relationship they had. I especially liked how well they communicated with each other (like about how sex was going in the extra chapter).
Chapter 2 was alright if a bit abrupt. Chapter 3 was ok but disjointed.

...is incrediblly romantic and addresses a lot of real issues belonging to trapped or young love.
The whole atmosphere was softly sorrowful, rendering several faces of love beautifully. Even the traditional Japanese folk tale element of rancor, or resentment and anger, that accompanies love and life was blended in. And with that eucatastrophy type ending, I can't help but love this poetically delivered, adeptly drawn story.
The whole collection had a lovely balance of light-hearted and fun verses heavy topics and emotions. "Your Gentle Hands" and "Let's Become a Family"-- very funny chapter too!--also deal with serious issues in a poetic manner, but they both felt rushed, although the stories both are definitely worth reading.

Its not the most exctiing collection of short stories around but it has its moments and there are two stories in there i really really enjoyed worth a read if you've got some time. The arts also pretty decent, though at times its not perfect, but its quite clean and its got some good detail in there. Same with the stories, some are a little superficial at times but then suddenly develop depth - so it balances out fairly well.
The main story wasn't too bad...

The main story wasn't too bad except the ending of each "stage" was a little lacking. The side stories, however, were disappointing as they lacked plot direction and focus. Sometimes, it felt as though the stories would've transitioned better if certain panels and parts of the dialogues were switched around.

I really enjoyed reading this manga, but i agree that the secondary stories where too short, still very good. I liked them, all especially gentle hands, the only one i think is kinda weird is number 5.

Some oneshots really ruined my reading mood... kind of leaving something stucked in my throat after reading. It's neither bad nor good, the manga...

This was not a bad manga but i feel that other than the main story the others were a bit too short, of course i know they are oneshots but i hope the mangaka can expand on some of the stories later on.
