Description
The future. The people that migrated to an alternate dimensional space, seeking a new world to live in, started an armed rebellion in order to declare independence from Earth. Thus, multi-dimensional war broke out with the United Army of Earth. The battlefronts spread, and the fight grew long.

From Matsumoto Jiro, the mangaka who brought you Freesia and Alice in Hell. You just know this manga is going to be a trip, and what a trip it was.
It's a completely degenerate manga, which is absolutely perfect for a degenerate like me. It has all of the things I love, fit into one short and neat 7 volume manga.
Here's a short list of what it has:
Philosophical themes, such as solipsism
Grotesque monsters
Giant mecha school girls with guns
Military/war setting
School Life
Genderswap
Crossdressing
Pegging
Sex scenes
Nudity
And these are just some of the things that come to mind. There's a whole lot of other things packed into this amazing work of art.
This manga blends the perfect amount of action, psychology, violence, nudity, character development, death, and length into one perfect masterpiece. It never dragged on. No chapter felt like a chore to read through. All arcs were amazing. It started on an amazing first chapter. The middle carried that hype throughout the series. The last arc, the Kiriko arc, was very different from the usual stuff but was very refreshing. I dare say that the Kiriko arc is one of my favorite arcs in any manga.
Of course, if you're the kind of person to prefer slice of life or less violent manga, then this obviously isn't going to be something you'll enjoy. But if you're anything like I am, then this may as well become your favorite manga of all time, like it is for me.

This is the most twisted gender bender I've read so far and it will be hard for someone to top it. It's not for all tastes for sure, there's gore, there's sex and the art could be seen as bad, but this is just Matsumoto Jiro style, he's a pretty competent manga-ka. Speaking of him, Joshi Kouhei isn't the best way to be introduced to his work and style and his twisted mind. Go read some of his early works first to get used to it. Joshi Kouhei isn't just fanservice, there's a solid and intricate plot to follow, it's well worth the reading.
