Description
The Heavy Metal Music Group at the high school consists of just Amanokawa Rinko and the main character, a teenage boy madly in love with her. The club is intended for people who enjoy the music genre to discuss their passion for heavy metal. However, there's only one kind of passion going on in this club house located in the outskirts of campus, and it is definitely rockin'.

Moderately funny, but very loveable

This is equal parts a comedy and romance manga. The comedy mainly revolves around poking fun at anime stereotypes. The straight faced protagonist often points out things that normally get ignored in generic-highschool-romance-type-manga. This was mildly funny to me. I was smiling most of the way through, but there weren't many laugh out loud moments.
The romance, on the other hand, is great. Usually in comedy manga romance elements are just another joke, and the characters never get together and there's very little actual romance. That is definitely not the case here. The main characters are an established couple when the series starts -- and they're a sweet couple, who banter, and go on dates, and make out (when was the last time you saw that in a romantic comedy manga?) And not only that, both of the main characters are completely original, loveable, and interesting. They're not stereotypes! The male lead I especially like. He's not a pervert, he's not stupid, and above all else he's not disloyal. He's only interested in his girlfriend, he's funny, he's romantic, and together they make a great team. That's a breath of fresh air compared to most "romantic" "comedy" manga I've read recently.
I really enjoyed reading this and I hope the rest gets translated some day.
